Greens have alot of fiber...you just really DO NOT need to cook them for so long otherwise they'll lose all nutritional value. And if you season them nicely and clean them well, they taste pretty freaking awesome. Definitely good eats to me :)

I thought the washing machine thing was a good idea until I read that a load of clean laundry is one of the germiest things you can touch. The dryer kills all bacteria (which comes from the poop in underwear- up to a teaspoon in each load!) but its still really germy. Putting food in the washer might be a BAD idea, FYI

COLLARDS! Collards cooked in bacon grease are amazing!! But my hubby puts vinegar on them. Yech! No canned collards tho! I'd get them fresh, but they're actually cheaper frozen and already chopped.
