i remember reading something in the Daily News that apparently FSN was holdign out a camera angle that clearly showed the puck was in. That would have been his 4ooth point but instead he got an assist for 400

Pittsburgh got caught cheating in this game .The director of FSN pittsburgh intentionally witheld video angles to the toronto war room. This is 100% fact google it if you must. The FSN director lost his six figure job. Its amazing there wasn't more of an outcry at the time. It exposes a flaw in the system in that it is the biased local prodction who is responsible for getting the proper videos to the war room.

If i where the video goal judge i would call that a goal! but anyway it's there dissection i'm not the reff.

It was a goal but the call on the ice was no goal so you need visual evidence of the puck COMPLETELY over the line. When you see the puck in the clip in question, it's already touching the line. So it was across the line, but you never see it completely over the line.

did you look at the last replay? you clearly see the puck getting kicked up from behind the line. Love johnsons face afterwards...i wonder if he was whistling while he was looking everywhere but at the refs..

I don't know if anyone remembers this but 2 years ago when the Pens and Flyers played in the ECF in game 2 Crosby had a similar play where the puck clearly went in but the officials ruled there wasn't enough visual evidence to overturn it. Then the next day that picture came out with the puck on the side and clearly over the line. Same thing. But the team that got screwed won both games so not much to complain about. Especially the Pens since it was the playoffs and not an early january game.

That was a freaking miracle on ice. My eyes were seriously tearing up while I was crossing my fingers when they were deciding it and then when they said it was no goal,I screamed "YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" haha
