@meleszenawi1111 FYI, these adopting parents are not American. They are Canadian. Unfortunately, Abbotsford, BC has a high rate of teen pregnancy and drug abuse.

@roachmobile Russia has one of the highest rates of Alcohol abuse and children with fetal alcohol syndrome in the world. BC does not even get close to their numbers.Charity should start at home before you spend 50k to get a child and rip it away for their history and perhaps add a burden of a disabled child to the government. Lots of Canadians adopt from the states using that same permiss. Sometimes I think it is about having a child from a far away location more than anything else.

There is many childeren in Canada need to adopt. I don't bleave their reason that thy want to help Russian Childeren. It's painful and traumatic to take 1 child from his/her milliu and country. It is another trauma for them :(
