I'd not heard this song before

I looked on Wikpedia and saw David Houston was born the same year as me (1935) and two years before Hag.

His death at 58 is very sad, because I've done so many things in the last 18 years which he's missed.

Hags version was better which seems disloyal to a guy who was my age.

Merle's version was very much more mature, I'd be very interested to hear his version age 31.

I've just listened to George's version at 36 it trashed my theory.
