  • Who is he with in 4:06? Is that family by any chance?

  • @nekochan62 Just the cast of Snow Cake. Did you watch that movie? WONDERFUL!!!!!

  • Please let it be known to all stoners out there, that it is now required to listen to this song whenever high, and attempt to play each and every instrument mr. Rickman announces. You win at life if you can make it to the end of the tubular bells.

  • What joy! One of the most inspiring pieces of music, the sex-yummy tones of Mr Rickman and then a slide show of this wonderful actor as well. Just have to check my pulse. Thank-you for posting this magnificent and magical combination. Cheers!

  • @ozcass57 You're very welcome, so glad you enjoyed it, Cheers :)

  • I was listening to this track tonight while watching the crescent moon rising in the sky, and I must say it was utterly amazing. This song is mesmerizing ( and so is alan's voice ;-)

  • Snape

  • yum. <3

  • beautiful <3

  • @MarryXMeXBuryXMe- you're alright! I'm 14 and I'm madly in love with him! You can't help your attractions to someone, especially of higher authority or in this case age. To many people age is just a number when you've passed 20! It's why I can't wait! But I'm with you on the whole denial thing, my friends think I'm crazy when they see the many pictures of Alan I have(;

  • @theatregirl32397 Gods! I understand you quite well!! I've been in love with him since I was twelve. I'm thirty now and my husband is a lot like him! Obssesed? NAH! Hahaaa

  • His last picture has always been my favorite(;

  • Hmmm... I played the crap out of Tubular Bells when it was released. This ain't it. Without a doubt, sounds like Alan Rickman. I'd bet my life on it. But, this is NOT the original music. "Two slightly sampled guitars"? "Digital sound processors"? Not happening when T.B. was released.

  • @spambrando uhm...see how this is called, it's " the bell" of Mike Oldfield, a newer changed version, of course not the original T.B. ;) I like the original much better :)

  • @TheBirrrdy - and you are absolutely correct. I did not do my homework before posting! Thanks!

  • @spambrando don't worry , I think it's because you are much more in love with the original version , as me ;)

  • at 3:41 he looks like a fusion of dustin hoffman and robert de niro :)

  • great piece of music, great voice.....excellent

  • beautiful, I love 'two slightly sampled electric guitars' :)

  • Glockenspiel is my favorite word, and my week has now been made because I heard it in this sexpot of a voice. Oh, God.

I'm sixteen years old, by the way, and in somewhat of a denial state about being attracted to him.

  • @MarryXMeXBuryXMe Aw, just go with it, don't deny ...think of it as a natural part of being a woman! LOL

  • @MarryXMeXBuryXMe Same! I love the word Glockenspiel, I can say it over and over and it never gets old

  • Awesome. MIke and Rick are greate thanks for the upload....

  • Bass Guitar !!

  • Glokenspiel!!!!

  • What CD is this from?

  • Comment removed

  • O.o where did this song come from?

  • That was my question too xD ... very sexy :)

  • @CassieEsther Its called "The Bell" from the Album "Tubular Bells 2" by Mike Oldfield, quite possibly the worlds most impressive composer / performer / musician ever. If you liked this track he has done many many tracks since 1973 when he composed and recorded the original Tubular bells albumn (You will probably recognise some of it as the music from the exorcist)

  • No one says "Grand Piano" like he does. It makes it sound so SEXY.

  • nobody in this whole wide world could say much more sexier "digital sound system" than ALAN RICKMAN! WOW!

  • There are no words that could describe how sexy he is. Could watch and listen to him 20/7

  • Can you send me the Song?

I love it so much !!!

  • ♥.♥ MY ALAN !!!

  • I LOVE when he says "glockenspiel"!

  • i agree, i also love when he says 'and the tubular bells'. oldfields bells are amazing, and alans rotund voice sounds the best with them ;)

  • Alan Rickman is the olnly blonde man I've ever found attractive......

  • i'm 13, my birthday is next week,

i fancied alan rickman for like, a year, i mean totally obbsessed with him. hes 50 years older than me ;l

  • Perfect music and amazing voice.

  • Catharsis.

  • he really is hot for words :]

  • Fucking hot ♥___♥

  • I happen to actually reallly like this tune, and the Rickmaness is an added wonderful bonus! I have this song on my ipod, and I love the way be says tubular bells. What enunciation!

  • The pic at 0:34, is that from when he was making "Mesmer"?

  • It looks like it is :D

  • Thanks!

  • You're welcome!

  • @RavenclawStudent The one with the blue jacket, I don't know. The next pic is from An awfully big adventure

  • He's so sexy <3

  • Funny how he says Potter in Harry Potter coz he says PoTTa (with an emphasis on the capitals)! LOL, what a genius!

  • Funny how he says Potter in Harry Potter coz he says PoTTa (with an emphasis on the capitals)! LOL, what a genius!

  • Some Mike Oldfield music is great but I like this just because of Alan! I live in England and want to see him perform one day! It's funny how he says Potter in the Harry Potter films coz he goes PoTTa with a huge emphasis on the capitals! LOL, what a genius!

  • I bloody hate this music, but I could listen to Alan read the full Oxford English Dictionary

  • What does he say at 2:51 ? Sry for my bad english.

  • It sounds like two slightly sampled electric guitars :)

  • Ok thanks :D

  • yeah it is two slightly sampled electric guitars...you can tell this because the lyrics (if you can call them that) are in the description

  • O RLY!? Those weren't in the description 3 weeks ago.. -.-

  • @terrya007 to me it sounds like "too slightly sampled electric guitar", since you only hear one guitar... idk

  • Its 2 guitars, its called playing in harmony, you cant get that full sound from a solo guitar

  • I don't know what it is about him but his voice and the pictures OMG he's soooooooo handsome

  • the picture at 6.02 the person next 2 Alan is that Collin Firth????

  • I think it's Liam Neeson, the sceen beeing from Michael Collins.

  • He's so sexy, he can say random ass words and still be incredibly hot. LOL. I love his voice <3 Thanks for posting this!

  • I love the way he says "Digital Sound Processor." Oh, heck - I love the way he says EVERYTHING!

  • the woman with alan,at 2:57 is miranda richardson?

  • It sure looks like her to me too, what an amazing actress, so good in the Merlin film.

  • I love the way he says "glockenspiel", funny to hear it from an English-speaking person, I didn't even know this word is also used in English...

    I love Alan Rickman's voice & I love Mike Oldfield's music! Brilliant!

  • I love how he manages to sound so happy about it!

    Espescially the "Grand Piano"

But I suppose that's what being an actor is about!

  • Who wouldn't be happy about a grand piano??? ; ) LOL It's my life's dream to have a Yamaha grand one day...sigh....

You are correct...Alan is a master of acting and voice...love him!!

  • 3:13 "the Alan effect!!!!"

or as some call it "swooning!"

  • What a beautiful clip you have made. It is the first time I have seen some of these photos. I wish I lived in England to have the possibility of seeing Mr Rickman on stage. He must be even more amazing live in theatre. Once more well done thank you for your efforts.

  • Thank you for your kind comment. I too would love the chance to see Alan on stage in England, especially having seen some tidbits of his stage acting here in YouTube, which I might add are quite impressive.
