I think Kevin Max is a great singer with an awesome voice, but this version of Jesus Freak sucks. It isn't smart to do an acoustic version of Jesus Freak, because the song needs the noise of an electric guitar.

Well first the song is 10 clicks too fast so it's hard for him to spit all the words out, which might not be his fault but you'd think kevin could find a better guitar player. Second if he was serious about singing still he'd get a vocal coach or something cause his runs are hideous. Or if he's getting too old to hit them he needs to screw his pride and do what works. And third I like the idea of doing this song acoustic but DO it acoustic, hes still rockin it, shoulda just done it mellow.

Well it's not just his image. I mean he ruined this song, probably one of the biggest in christian venues ever, and not only that, dc Talk was energy. He doesn't show that anymore. And wheres the spiritual side of him? I've seen interviews of him on here and its not there. Its getting obvious to me Toby really was the backbone and kevin was a singer, nothing much more.

he's not a young boy any longer, it's common among both men and women to gain weight when they;re in their 30's and 40's, also he might have had some serious personal struggles, ppl gain weight for that, too, so don't be too hard on him, he's already had enough from overrighteous christians blaming him for not putting Jesus' name in every song, don't be like them, just love the man and appreciate him for what he is. i love all three of them dc talkers.
