@toasterkitty Thank you. I know MLTR's version, as this was what the program director sent me as a template to copy from. I don't like either version, though. This just isn't my cup of tea. The video is here for documentation purposes.

your english version is very good, much better than the Chinese version. i guess it needs some practice to improve the Chinese version. not bad for a non-Chinese speaker, though. you need to sing louder in chinese and give a bit more rhythm.

@lajabo0009 thanks; the phrasing and the volume of the Chinese segment was meant to be this way; the clip I was asked to record had ended with the last English part. I wasn't quite sure if it was obvious enough for the intended audience what my version is based on, so I overdubbed the faint Chinese part as an afterthought.

Also, using a drum programming that is so obviously not even trying to be mistaken for real drums I believed I could escape the otherwise unevitable criticism of my poor programming---so I thought.
