Man, you guys seriously lack strategic ability, but you're moving in the right direction.
1) Call the courthouse. Pretend you got a jury summons and misplaced it. Most courthouses announce jury summons' days via recording if you follow the prompts.
2) Pretending you got a summons and misplaced it also works in person. As does hiring a new face for $6 now and $6 later once they start adapting to you.
3) You think they'll just give you your freedom? They will escalate - google "Turney v. Pugh"
@libertarianjury Thank you for the suggestion, google "Turney v. Pugh." You make a good point, that a judge can escalate a jury nullification dispute.
However "the People" is a codified a legal entity superior to any government agent or agency. As law exists for the People, not the other way around, a jury, which represents the People in a trial, has a duty to act as master over its servant, law.
How any agent or branch of government misbehaves in response is irrelevant in light of that duty.
Go FIJA. Never heard of you till today. Thanks Ridley Report. Free style journalist have shown me the was this past 2 years. If it were not for your kind I might still be amongst the ranks of the sheeple.
When I made the post describing the conversation that took place, it was only to let people know that there could be an issue getting the information. Random or not, there should be a way for us to find out. To deny us the info is to deny jurors to know their rights. Government is supposed to protect rights, not deny them and it may take a group of activists to enter the court with cameras to demand accountability. Maybe the clerk will readily have a way to get the information. We'll see.
Three issues actually, though none are major yet. Jury selection dates appear to have gone more random, where before they were either not random or at least not hard to attend outside. Second the bureaucrat apparently didn't want to answer a resident's questions about jury selection dates (should something like that be kept semi secret).....and lastly she wouldn't provide the name of a the public official in charge. Not the end of the world, but worth mentioning in a video.
I would just call the court house and ask for the Jury Clerk or their office. At that point if they are out you should be put into a voice mail system where they would say their name on the VM recording. Not hard and worth a try IMO.

Government = BS.
We need more freedom fighters to fight the system.
Our founding fathers did the same as us.
Nothing like family.
