Hell no... This is painfull I am not going to love it o_0.. fuck this ima pop some pills and grab a hot water bottle.. girls I suggest you do the same and 'love' the power of relaxation.
your dumb. most of these women (including myself) look to u for guidance on something that effects them deeply and ur dumb mouth flaps with some ignorance.
I have one remedy that works for me. First try pamprin, it works for the really painful cases (i have the sort of cramps that are so bad they give you a migrane and make you vomit). but if that doesn't work try this. take an empty pillowcase and pour at least one FULL bag of rice inside. tie off the top so rice cant spill out. heat in microwave for 2-3 minutes. place on the source of your pain and let the heat soak in. hope this helps ladies.
Dumbest shit ever listen to you cramps. Worst advice ever. My cramps are like a stabbing pain over and over again and you tell me to listen to my vagina!!!!!! Your MENTALLY ILL
You are an idiot. Me being in blinding pain, literal blinding pain, has nothing to do if there is peace in my life. Take your budda Zen crap and shove it up your ass.
THIS IS THE MOST IGNORANT THING IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FRICK DOES YOUR UTURIS CONTRACTING HAVE TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT THEIR IS PEACE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!???????? I think if I saw you in person I would fight you and I like truly don't fight or believe that fighting is ok, but for this ignorance I would make an exception. UGH fools these days can't handle it
How am I supposed to listen to my cramps is my coochie guna do a beat box about what i need to fix apparently you've never had cramps or a period at all a period is like a bad reward you haven't had sex and gotten preggers here's your reward bloating cramps for me mini hot flashes. before u give advice on something make sure you've had it.
...If your bending over pressing your ear to your ovaries trying to listen to them...(I can imagine it... >>>> )"oh why do you hurt so bad? why are you making me want to hold a gun to my head to make the pain go away? Just tell me... I'll listen..." that's when you know it's time to get a little help at a special place. a holy place. an insane asylum.
uhm. i didnt ask for an opinion. i ask for a REMEDY. NOT AN OPINION.
it feels like theres a monster ripping through my ovaries rightnow, and your talking about womens rights and shit. please change your title if your not gonna talk about what it says. thank you.
@AlinaBrown93 I hope you find a REMEDY that works for you. Transforming our thoughts about menstruation, womanhood and ourselves is a remedy. If it doesn't work for you or you're not open to it that is your choice, move on to the next video. Our bodies and wombs are talking to us and it's time women start listening. Also I encourage to look for remedies BEFORE they are in physical pain. Thanks for the feedback.
@menstrualmovement Well, I take 2 Tylenol pills when I have cramps on the first day and It really works! I got rid of the cramps about a minute later! Now I'm having a happy period for 7 days. Tylenol is a wonderful REMEDY ( for me ). :) !
I can totally get on board with the idea that your mental state affects your physical state. But to suggest that your mental state is the entire reason you're cramping is just ridiculous. I'm sorry, but I've had excruciatingly painful cramps since my first period at 11 years old. By your suggestion, I've been resisting something since then. And I guess my mom has been happy and stress free her entire life since she's never had any cramps. Mindset is part of it but there's more to it.
@nydatv Thanks for your feedback. I see our thoughts and lifestyle choices as KEY to our womb happenings, particularly in adult women. When I say resistance I am speaking about what we feel and think about menstruation, womanhood, and ourselves (self love). Many of us behave like we are men, meaning we do not yield and rest during menstruation when clearly our bodies are telling us to. Many of us are resisting both menstruation and womanhood.
@leafychild.....What's funny? That our thoughts impact our health and reality? It's not a new theory. "You can Heal Your Life" by Louise L. Hay is a great book that describes the power of our thoughts.
@menstrualmovement well of course our thoughts impact our health, but when the lining of your uterus is shedding thinking positive isn’t going to change the fact that pieces of your uterus are literally bleeding out of your body. It’s going to be painful however you chose to think of it.
@leafychild When I say stop resisting I don't mean think positively in that moment. I am referring to how we view menstruation, womanhood, ourselves (self worth). Every woman isn't experiencing the pain you are describing so it's time we explore what are the distinctions beyond diet and exercise. Why do many of us look for solutions after we are in physical pain versus prevention? Our wombs are giving us feedback many of us just aren't listening....thanks for the feedback.
I can't listen to anything while I'm writhering around in pain. Sit ups help lessen pain(don't do it during the period), don't eat chocolates or nuts or dates(makes it run), eat bannanas, stay in a comfotable position not back but shift around, & don't hold gas(no joke). THUMBS THIS UP SO EVERYONE KNOWS THE SECRET TO DEFEATING CRAMPS!
Hey ladies --- if you want your cramps to start, improve your diet, get mineral supplements, drink more water and work out more. Improving your circulatory system is a MUST to remove cramps. Also, circulatory system is related to how positive you express your emotions. When you do feel cramps, don't act like a bitch like some of you are doing in the comments. I am TELLING YOU it only makes things FEEL WORSE when you act like a bitch on your period.
@PeaceUdo Thanks for making the "bitch" point...complaining does make us feel worse and of course we choose to complain. I don't consistently eat right nor do I work out regularly, I do drink more water than the average person. I believe shifting our thoughts around menstruation, womanhood and our worth is the ultimate solution, the other remedies are secondary in my book. Every woman gets to choose for herself. Thanks for sharing.
@Dustefart .......first things first get outta pain (for some that means taking pain relief) second pay more attention to your whole cycle (not just the premenstrual and menstrual phases) really pay attention to your womb and body. How did the video make you feel worse? Are you looking for easy solutions? Are there areas in your life were you are resisting? wishing you wellness and clarity!
@09chisco Acting like a bratty kid makes your period pain worse. I'm not saying this to insult you, I am telling you the truth. Try it. For one period cycle, try smiling every time you are about ot chew someone out (in real life or online). Try it everyday of your cycle and write down how different it feels. ;)
are yu fxckin ' serious ? the only good part about this video is tht yu said yur name was Imani . & thts the only reason because my name is emoni too . gosshhh .
So now I'm sipping on some hot peach passion herbal tea pondering on what it maybe that I'm resisting.....any suggestions on a process to use? I may make a video on this topic bc I'm sure if there is a area in my life where there is resistance it has to be on a subconscious level. Peace & God bless~
Hi, I must admit I was a little upset with this message when I first heard it sitting here cramping!! lol it was not what I expected to hear! The more I thought about what you actually said...the more I realized that it was just what I needed to hear. Thank you sis, God bless & prosper you & your family~
And to the people who have been negative, it has been scientifically proven that our bodies are an unbuilt pharmacy controlled by our minds.. Don't rule it out before having tried it. I know I will be. My pains are awful too.
Well, at this moment my menstrual cycle is telling me I'm a stupid bitch and that they are going to let a bag of angry wild cats loose in my womb and just let them have fun. Fuck this...
Um, excuse me? You've never had bad menstrual cramps, so you shouldn't act like one can beat it mentally. Cramps are a PHYSICAL event. You can tell me that this really all stems from a problem in my life I'm not addressing, but at the end of the day, it's uterine muscles contracting too hard as they expel the blood lining. So stop acting like it's voluntary and you're just more strong-willed than the cramp-ridden rest of us.
Right now, all my period is "telling" me is that I need more Advil.
@tehbubbles1 Do what works for you...........swallowing pills is one way to deal with physical pain yet it's not the only way, everything PHYSICAL has a energetic cause. Blessings!
@tehbubbles1 I just want to say that MOST PHYSICAL PAIN is CAUSED from your MENTAL STATE. It is no wonder why we say stress is the NUMBER ONE KILLER. That being said, doing some physical things to allieve pain can actually help you recognize what is going on mentally. But I whole heartedly agree with her that you need to pay attention to your thoughts daily that are causing you to eat a bad diet or stress out which leads to cramps. Advil does not work for me. REAL HEALING only works for me
@tehbubbles1 When I get cramps, they're to the point of which I pass out, vomit, wish I never was born, etc. So, I talk myself down during the experience... like out loud. This calms me. Also, a buttload of medication and crying myself to sleep or passing out on the toilet with my naked parts all exposed helps too. I just accepted this as punishment for something I did. That mentality... just works for me. It's bittersweet, but it works.
uuuugh...not feeling too good here. You're right though, we need to discover how our menstral cycle helps us rather than just focusing on how it hurts us. I find myself happier and my pain is greatly reduced when I go out walking. The only thing I struggle with there is getting out of bed sometimes. If I'm in so much pain I don't want to move, it's hard to get out to exercise.
hey but i wanted to tell you... it really helped me this video i only watched it once... but and i remeber you saying to listen to your body or something... and it has really helped me.it may seem silly and commen sense but... i have changed alot of things that i needed too. : ) thanks
you have obviously never gone through what im going through..... im just joking i feel you i know what your saying... but no tips for right now... i guess i can apply that right now... we all know what we need to change in our lives... that made sense what you said... but fuck im hurting
@plastik420 hey lady I hear you....I'm definitely not advocating that you stay in physical pain definitely ease the pain then you can explore and eliminate cramps long term through creating a healthier relationship with your cycle and exploring what you are resisting in your life and release it.....wishing you a healthy cycle :-)
