I agree. I love the design, build and spec but it's still a new product so it might be best to wait until all the fixes (if there are any) sorted out. I love to get one myself.
I just bought this mixer last week, first allen & heath product i've used. First unit came with a defective monitor output. Replacement unit had really bad hiss in the left channel of both headphone outs. haven't received my *third* unit yet, but allen & heath customer service has been a joke not answering their phone or returning calls or emails. Thankfully the reseller has been good about getting replacements quick, but if you buy this mixer I would check it over very carefully ASAP.
Yep, because I think people should know that there seem to be some serious quality control issues with this relatively new mixer. Or maybe you'd rather nobody knew? Seems a little fishy....
Hey, I've been looking over various references (websites, youtube and such) for reviews & more info. Ignore what all these other fools say. I'm glad your getting the word out about this issue. I'm about to shell out 3 bills on this and I want to know the quality is worth 3 bills worth of technology and materials. I saw you say u went up in model number - for my needs, even tho I have the funds I don't want to drop 500+ on a mixer for something that isn't going to return on investment. THX man!
I have a Xone 4d and it has bin on service 2 times since a bought it last summer! That really bad!!! sold my pioneer system to get the money and that was a big misstage!!

it´s a house mixer not made 4 scratching
the faders will wear out on this so i bought a xone2 and will put an innofader in it.

i have had this mixer for about 2 months now, well worth how much i paid for it
there is a noticeable click when switching on the filter but only through your headphones cant hear it on my monitors
