rings had specific pont counting, and according to it it was a draw after 3round result, but the final one did the job! if it wasn't rings Fedor would fight a different way. u judge sings the way u see it on the screen. judges on the other hand were there on the eventplace! but, i'd love to see a rematch. to make u guys forget the issue!

Ineffective aggression = no points. A stuffed takedown attempt is a point-neutral situation. Arona did not punish the body or put a single submission on when he had top position. Fedor had multiple gillotines in, punished the body when he had top and even from bottom. He had the leg lock, one powerful low kick, and definitely the better of the standup exchanges. He hit Arona more often, harder, and cleaner. He also reversed Arona, showing a higher level of technique. Fedor won the fight.
What many people don't understand is that the Japanese judges do not appreciate the control they appreciate the aggression and Fedor was more aggressive, Arona just tried to take him down and control him, to know who won the fight you have to judge it with the Japanese criteria, who tried more submissions, who landed more strikes, who was the more aggressive fighter, and Fedor was all of that and more.
They just made Fedor win with that ugly cut on his face to make him loose on the next fight with the jap, so the winner of the first japanese edition of RINGS were a japenese guy
This dude needs to get to fighting or he will soon become a memory. He should fight at Banned, or the UFC should sign him quick to fight at 85 against David Heath or someone he could manhandle.
