I dont know what u are talking about when u said "How long does it take?". To refresh, sometimes it takes a while but other times it takes less than a minute.

the longest it took me was about 5 minutes or so. If it takes that i recommend trying to turn it off.

The preps are needed for the real ones to work. Once you download the preps, u can download the real ones and they should work well
