I'm a vocal major too....and have had it since I was 14, really bad. I've tried everything they suggest, but nobody has any real solutions. It's not good at all...

Hmm...you should go to a specialist. If it's really bad, I think you have to have surgery. If not, I think they have some special exercises that you can do. I'm not really sure, sorry!

No. 1 is that I've never had brainfreeze. It's when you drink a very cold drink very quickly and you get a weird pain in your head. From what I hear, it hurts a lot.

LOL...I just got my wisdom teeth pulled...I've been swollen and sore for a week now. It's the worse thing EVER. They didn't fracture my jaw...but, they had to stitch part of the entrance to my throat.

I guess I got off easy. The guy that did mine was named Duane Hurt-seriously-but he actually did a good job, insofar as I am able to judge it. I woke up from the twilight sleep momentarily when one of the wisdom teeth cracked in two while he was pulling it out. I immediately resolved to go back to sleep when I felt that going on. The worst I had was severe nausea for a few hours afterward. I would hate having my jaw wired shut. I had enough of metal in my mouth with braces, retainers, etc.
