I am tired of people trying to ruin the magic - even if Gladys wasn't real, why not just let people believe & enjoy the hilarity? Why are people always trying to turn something so wonderfully positive into a disappointment? & why is it that if there isn't physical proof of something, people immediately start spreading rumours. It's like when Katie Holmes didn't appear in public for 3 months after giving birth to Suri, & suddenly there were rumours that she'd faked the pregnancy. Just let it be!

@MsIrenic Don't worry. "Gladys" is in reality about 49 years old. He (Scott Hardy) is in excellent health, sometimes races motorcycles, etc. He will be around for a long time to call in as "Gladys". She'll be "88 and holding" for quite a while. ;)
