im looking to do this for some reason my wii mote doesnt stay connected ....ive already bought a secondhand motionbar and spliced it with a usb cord to supply its 5v dc .... i would say forget about searching radio shack for both the high frequency ir diode and the low frequency diode ... just buy a secondhand wii motion bar it ends up being a littlke cheaper and less stressfull
