Welcome. Ring bell. Advance with your hands up. Stay on the path to avoid the mines. We lost three customers last week.Trade and barter welcome. Free kittens! .... or something like that.
"Farnham" as used here was a reference to RHeinlein (a character from his novella Farnham's Freehold.) Farnham is not a town, it is a compound - and it worth noting that it's the last place people hold-out against corporate greed and genetic modifications. So, I would take it as a compliment. Unless you're one of the facist assholes depicted in the film (which I seriously doubt).
I have most of his books, (my parents collected them). we warmly call him "papa Heinlein"
most of his stuff even now would make a movie that would rub people the wrong way(if done properly). Stranger in a strange land in peticular, or time enough for love.

I agree...I think the themes are "too patriotic" for most today; it would be thought of as propaganda. Of course, through the lens of the cold war...

I think Heinlein's beliefs may have a profound impact one day.

Is this supposed to be after the end of the book ?

Nice pickup on the book reference (and thank you). Nope ... it's a just a homage to RHeinlein. I like that book.
