  • He was not a big man physically but he had a big stage presence! a slender

dark and handsome giant, with total screen magnetic powers.

  • I don't think he has ever been sweeter/hotter than in this one. I think this scene was "looped". Perkins had a genius for it.

  • "You shouldn't talk like that about your mother."

Nice one, Griddie, telling that to the guy who played Norman Bates... XD

  • Unbelievably adorable !!!!!

  • This is a wonderful film and I wish I could find it on DVD as well.

  • absolutely loved this film. wish i could

find it on dvd. 15 years difference

nowadays would not be a problem.

  • My second favourite Bergman film [first is The Inn]. The only problem with this film is that forty is NOT old. She was merely a beautiful, sophisticated woman and her acting, as always, was the tops. I wish she had married the Antony Perkins character and lived happily ever after....instead she married Roger, her lover with the roaming eye [and more] and he continued his shennanigans after they were married. Who would cheat on Bergman? This is the weakness of the story.

  • very handsome man

  • @cheyenne86 too bad society forced him into the closet

  • No one was more appealing on-screen than Anthony Perkins when he was young. He was also a fine singer and piano player. Too bad his own demons often got the better of him. I enjoyed his early performances.

  • This movie was on this morning and I totally missed it! I was really upset!

  • 40.....hah i loved that part

  • Hey c'mon what's 15 years?
