My 3 year old baby cousin, Brogan Lundahl, was found half drowned in my parents pool this afternoon. He is breathing but unresponsive, and was just taken to the hospital an hour ago. I have been praying with my extended family and friends that he may be healed. To all who read this comment, If I may ask your mercy, please remember this boy in your prayers. Please ask that this boy's body may be made whole, and that the lord may watch over him as he recovers. God bless you all.
Too bad he's so good, because there is no god, beyond the ideas that people believe and their actions. That's a tremendous force nonetheless, but there is no real God guy "out there".
And i read the despicable news item about the army soldiers who were forced to choose attending a religious music concert, or confinement to their barracks.
@decimated550 What I don't understand is why atheists look and find christian videos and just post there thoughts on are beliefs. So you specifically looked for this video to post this?
@Aj24671 Actually, I'm an athiest (former Christian). I NEVER go to a Christian video to complain about Christianity. Though the meaning has changed for me now, I still enjoy Christian music. I have wonderful Christian friends. It is ignorant for someone to come to a vid just to complain about your faith. Understand, though, that many Christians go to athiest videos and complain all the time, so it goes both ways. One side always trying to convince the other that they're right...
@TV843 Well the "Christians" who complain must be baptists. Because usually they are the ones doing that, protesting and starting riots. But it can be any denomination. Well why would you stop being a christian?

I met a wonderful woman who essentially told me flat out "I could never be with a man who wasn't a Christian." Fearing losing her, I started studying and becoming active in the church. Though my initial motivations were misguided, I did make a sincere effort to understand and share her beliefs. After she left me, I continued on with my own church for some time...

But if there is only one true god, and that god is Yahweh, who is it that Muslims believe in? A Mormon friend of mine would say that Allah is Satan. In the same token, other Christian friends of mine say that Mormons themselves aren't Christians--yet my Mormon friend argues the opposite. Who is right?
@Aj24671 If my Mormon friend says "I follow Christ" and yet a non-denominational Christian friend says "Mormons aren't Christians", who's the "real" believer? How can you believe in something that people (who are supposedly of the same faith) can't agree on? It also begs the question, "What is a believer?" if it can be so many things to so many people. A "relationship with Christ" is often a totally different thing from one person to another.
@TV843 Well I believe that you cant just expect to go to heaven if you say "I believe in God". You have to have a relationship with Christ. And if a Denominational Christian protests saying" God hates gays". And another says God does not hate gays he just hates what they are doing. The second guy is right. @TV843 Try to understand that a "true" athiest is not a devil-worshiping psycho, but a person who is unwilling or unable to prescribe to a particular faith or god. Athiesm is simply a lack of belief. The reason so many athiests complain about those of faith is because they feel that political/moral decisions should be kept separate from religion. In other words, I feel that everyone is free to believe what they want (including Christianity), but not free to impose what they believe on me.

Some muslims hate other religions, that they attack people.And I'm descrbing a terrorist. Especailly the Islamic extremists. Who say Allah commands me to do it. And if they do they will go to heaven. @Aj24671 I'm going to say this and go away... Remember, I didn't come here to complain about faith. Everyone should feel free to believe what they want. But you asked if I had a relationship with Christ. At one time, yes, I hoped I did. But as I read more of the Bible I came to the conclusion that if God and Christ were one (two parts of the trinity) & God could ASK someone to kill children (eg. 1 Sam 15:3), and Christ was an extension of that God, I could no longer follow him, real or not.
@TV843 I'm sorry that happened. But God would not just kill children out of the blue. He would punish the sinful parents. And it was not his fault. It was theres. But I hope you will come back to Christ some day. I still have problems of my own. I cuss a little,hatred, you name it. Everyone does. And yes the bible can be scary and confsuing sometimes. But its not supossed to scare you. Its suppossed to have a message of hope. And espceially the book of revelations. I understand.
@TV843 And I dont make the descisions. No I don't believe in Allah. Its just like many christians believe and feel that God's out there. And many Muslims say that God and allah are the same person. And I disagree with that. But its what they believe. But did you have faith God's out there? Then if you know God's out there then you don't have to see you believe and thats faith.
@Aj24671 I'd actually love to believe that there is A god and that perhaps that god loves us in some positive way. But since we humans can't agree on who or what God is, I will have to wait to see who he/ she/ it is. If HE hates me because I wasn't willing to accept what a human being told me was "truth" then perhaps he wasn't worth believing in in the 1st place. Remember, God is mostly defined by humans and humans are flawed.
@TV843 God loves everyone. He does hate anyone. Otherwise he would have never sent his only son to die. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. I hope you accept him back, because you really don't want to wait till the end man. Trust me he is worth believing and haveing a relationship with. It's the best desicion you will ever make.
