oh jesus. i had an announcer like this on the orange line, right after a fare hike threat, and after every announcement was something along the lines of "have a nice day" or "thanks for choosing us" and it was pathetic. clearly he was trying too hard to win us over. this lady is crazed though. i feel like she's doing that song "the ---- bone's connected to the ------bone..." aah!

i had an experience like that on the Washington Metro's green line. pleasant, but annoying! Im surprised that WMATA hasnt upgraded to automated anouncements yet, but i doubt it'll be anytime soon after that horrific accident
well, instead of concentrating funds to improve their PA systems, theyll first have to pay all the lawsuits from the family members of the dead, as well as paying to upgrade and inspect rolling stock in order to prevent future incidents
