I've had this phone since the day it came out. Haven't felt the need to upgrade since Verizon's new data plans for smartphones are an absolute joke. $30 dollars for 4GB data. I bet the 4G LTE phones would eat through that in one day.

from what i understand most LG phones suck ass. my 1st one was nice till the screen went bad and the flip clamshell got so loose that it almost wouldn't stay shut. my moms LG is still working ok but i think is't cause some of the LG's do work. and yes its an older model. the best phone out there is Nokia. ive never had a problem with them ever!

side buttons are for volume and camera brightness, not zoom. the touch calibration, touch vibrate, and touch sound are all changeable. if there were non dedicated buttons, this fone could be more fun.

Touch on this phone is very mediocre compared to touch on an iphone or an ipod touch, which is very responsive. on this phone, you have to press right on target, and very hard... it takes a while to get used too, but its a nuisance when you first buy it.

i have this phone. it breaks very easily. mine broke, no lie, 7 TIMES! and most of the time they were the manufacturers fault (lk buttons stopped working) and the last two times the screen got a pressure crack now the touch screen is black and i can no longer use the touch screen, which is pretty much the whole point of the phone. but at least i can use the inside. id think my parents will ever let me get a phone like this again. not after 7 times it broke. verizon should make sturdier phones!!!
Today, my phone ( the voyager) Broke for the 5th time. I HATE it . The first one I had, I loved it..I dropped it in to water, after that, the phones the gave be broke after 1/2 months. I also hate how you don't have a full keyboard on the touch screen. I also hate how sucky the touch screen is.
I am replacing my Voyager with the Droid Eris today. I LOVED the voyager's keyboard, but that's pretty much it. Always had to unlock the phone using the side button... the unlock touch screen button hardly ever works.
The screen is also a bit messed up, after 1 year it started acting up and at times I couldn't see the external screen at all.
i had tis phone... now i have the droid... while i had this phone i luved it but u get rlly bored of it after a few months but its rlly nice! ITS A FUCKING TANK!!! i dropped this phone almost 4 times a day and i barely had any scratches and it never hurt my fone
i got one its not too flashy but not too cheesy either. i use a stereo headset with mine so when i talk on the phone i can hear in both ears. it has pretty good reception.
don't get this phone!!!! when i had this phone i had 5 different replacements!!! and when i get the env touch for a replacement the card that i had on my voyager ended up having a virus on it and it implanted in my env touch and completely shut it down. the voyager has major issues.

uuuuhhhhh if u want the voyager then gey the voyager 2 (enV touch). it is much nicer, has and awesome qwerty keyboard, great touchscreen. the reason why it is called enV touch instead of voyager 2 is lg wanted to name something else of theirs voyager so they didnt let verizon make any more phones under the name of voyager.
what about them? the env touch is the successor to the voyager. voyager=Lg vx10000, env touch = lg vx 11000. env series is 91,92,9300. voyager is the name of a headset by plantronics, and they bought the rights to the name. they didnt renew so they changed the name
if you had a bad experince with the voyager, the dare or the env touch is not going to be different, my voyager broke last week so im going to get the samsung rogue

you can put music from itunes as long as you install the V CAST Music with Rhapsody it comes with but the bad thing is that you cant put any songs as a ringtone from your computer that ive found out :(
no you cannot, you can use vzw rhapsody to put music on the phone, which you can only listen to on speaker or through a headpiece(not headphones) you cannot make any of these songs your ringtone either.

uuuuhhhhh if u want the voyager then gey the voyager 2 (enV touch). it is much nicer, has and awesome qwerty keyboard, great touchscreen. the reason why it is called enV touch instead of voyager 2 is lg wanted to name something else of theirs voyager so they didnt let verizon make any more phones under the name of voyager.

correction. plantronics owns the voyager name. lg bought it and used it, then plantronics wouldnt let them use it again. hence enV touch.

what about them? the env touch is the successor to the voyager. voyager=Lg vx10000, env touch = lg vx 11000. env series is 91,92,9300. voyager is the name of a headset by plantronics, and they bought the rights to the name. they didnt renew so they changed the name

getting this phone will be a horrible mistake, I loved this phone too, however since I bought it I ran through about 8 of them, and i am very careful with my phones, the technical problems on this are ridiculous, its the most attractive dysfunctional phone on the market, and its the most dysfunctional attractive phone on the market as well.

you can put music from itunes as long as you install the V CAST Music with Rhapsody it comes with but the bad thing is that you cant put any songs as a ringtone from your computer that ive found out :(

no you cannot, you can use vzw rhapsody to put music on the phone, which you can only listen to on speaker or through a headpiece(not headphones) you cannot make any of these songs your ringtone either.

I have had my voyager since Aug of 08 and I am on my FOURTH one. Verizon is great about replacing it, but this phone is a CHINESE PIECE OF CRAP. iphone people are too friggin full of themselves so I dont wanna go that route....and plus Verizon Wireless cannot be beat.

i dont know why so many people hate it .
its a really good phone , and the only problem i had was the keyboard started buzzing one night . but that was it , it doesnt do that anymore .
and the other one is that it restarts randomly . but thats cause its either heating up , er there was a problem .
