  • EPIC

  • I wouldn't trust the computer to land the plane if it made a mistake like that

  • That actually wasn't an auto land. The pilot disconnected the autopilot just before touchdown meaning that the autopilot didn't land the airplane. Just a normal CAT III approach.

  • @blakman7 sort of. Wasn't totally normal. Without the autoland the pilots could not have gotten as far as they did. When they passed decision height, 200ft AGL, they still didn't have the runway. Only with autoland engaged can a plane pass that without seeing the runway. The auto pilot even did the auto-flare, just not the roll-out. You're not going to get flare without autoland on. I'd call it an autoland for sure.

  • TEN!

  • There's a Troll in the GPWS !

  • hahaha what a funny thing!! I first thought it's just another poor visibility landing posted on YouTube and was short before of stop watching it till the end, then didn't realize the GPWS stopped callouts at 20 ft short of landing so I had to watch it twice afterwards. Funniest moment when they vacate the RWY and began laughing ^^

  • an Airbus watched the video, realised it didn't have a sense of humour and disliked.

  • fuck me.

  • ¿Mala configuración o fallo del barómetro o el MCP es un cachondo?

  • Wow scarey stuff. CATS 3 Landing is no joke.

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • LOL the computer called 10 right when they exit the rwy!!!!

  • accuracy in the inboard computer with the "10"

  • MINNNNNIMUMS...HA HA

  • HHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA i often get that in flight sim

  • wheres 10 ?

  • 英语不懂!哎

  • LOL @ "10"

  • "Ten" hahahahahahahahaha XD

  • muito bom!!!!!! gostei

  • Plane is already landed, cockpit voice is still says ten. :)

  • I belive its pretty normal because the pilots disengaged the AP on the moment of 10, so the plane noticed it was on the ground so it said ten, still a very small bug :P

  • the 10 came just a little late lol

  • LOL @10 ...

  • Haha oh that's funny....beautiful landing though!

  • OOOOUUUUUUHHHHH YEEEAAAAHHHHHHHH NO WORDS!!!!! TEN!!! XDDD

  • Well, the GPWS call "10" seems to come straight after the speed brakes lever retraction sound. Since the autopilot was disengaged right at the 10 call, it's kinda like the GPWS kept it on hold until then. Funny...:-)

  • how could the GPWS give false altitude call-out, its reading suppose to be based on radio altimeters right??

  • that GPWS "10" made this video a "10" :).

  • gpws drunk?

  • LOOOOOL

  • GPWS: TEN!

    PILOTS: HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • 10, HAHAHAHA LOL

  • Mr GPWS must slipped a few shorts in prior to departure...

  • Must of hit a speed bump lol ..... 10, I give this video a 10 lol .

  • That plane is from American at 1:18

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe the runway was bumpy and aircraft reached 10 feet to land again, lol

  • Comment removed

  • @747johnz It was "ten"

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice video!

From which source does the 10 feet measure come from?

Altimeter, Gps, radio altimeters, ILS or gyroscopes?

If I am not wrong in manual commands landing the left or right radio altimeters are used depending on who is in command, what happens in autolanding mode?

    Thanx!

  • @flightmachine001 GWPS failure sometimes it happens that GWPS know where you are but not correctly how high , know that failure form cessnas and cirrus props but on an jumbo :D^^

  • kkkkkkk, ten!!! after landing, GPWS plane is haywire!

  • ...10...

    ahaha

  • Computer was afraid from low visibility and forget his job :-)

  • Hahaha and you thought computers didn´t have sense of humour :D

  • miniumums 50 ;)

  • Ten

    hahha : )

  • GPWS watched this video and disliked it.

  • @Martr0x LOL

  • I imagine what would happened if the autopilot relied the GPWS for the autolanding..

  • ein zuschauer dieses videos saß mit im flugzeug

  • hahahah GPWS fail

  • Lol boeing lags.... xD

  • Haha, good vid.

  • 1:10 whats in the mind of 737's nowadays..haha..funny thing it did not announce RETARD during taxi..=)

  • [After pulling into the gate] "I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you."

  • @jim121272 its a different kind of flying, all together!

  • @rozzabuc It's a (totally) different kind of flying.

  • I like that !

  • Time to adjust that altimiter. lol

  • the french crew is ridiculing boeing technology..obviously airbus technology is better.

  • @ArticMuse right... thats why they call them scare buses. At least Boeings can't suffer from blue screens of death. Also I've never seen a brand new Boeing suffer from random engine explosions. Seriously... the A380 is the HUGEST waste of money ever.

  • @JamesCameron1 You do know that Boeing or Airbus don't make engines right? Also how is it a huge waste of money? Are you an expert in that field? Real experts say that Airbus will break even on the A380 by 2014 and therefore be making a profit thereafter. The blue screen issue you bring up is just wrong, I'm not even going to debate it. I wish I could sweep you fanboys under the rug...

  • @JamesCameron1 Dude, screw you. About the 787. That thing can explode from lightning because most of it is composite, boeing said. We'll work later on that problem. Whilst Airbus is working on thier A350 and they solved it, stating that the 787 is the most unsafe aircraft ever created.

The engine explosions are to blame to CRAPPY ROLLS ROYS.

  • @JamesCameron1 Regarding that boeing V.S. airbus thing is tidious, both are great. Airbus is just allot more progressive whilst boeing is allot more conservative, I'd say hypocrete because they eventually implented FWB on their new planes.

  • @ArticMuse Yup, thumbs up.

  • the airport elevation wasnt set correctly, the runway was "downhill" so we have a "10" :D

  • I think they needed to adjust the altimeter...love the "ten" callout 20 seconds after touchdown!!! LMAO

  • @alaskagirl1978 call outs follows radio height, not altimeter.

  • @186771054 Actually, pilots are to re-check that they've both got the correct altimeter setting and that altitude corresponds to what it should be at that point in the descent/approach. So yes, I am correct when I say they need to adjust the altimeter setting. Regardless of whether using TCAS or AFCS.

  • @alaskagirl1978 The Callouts are Rad alt based, nothing to do with the height above sea level or what they have set on their Altimeters. Most modern EICAS boeings tell you when you've forgot to set the altimeter setting as you program the transition level, and they also tell you if the 2 pilots have set different settings.

  • 10! LMAO he was grading the awsome landing

  • Its interesting to hear the buzzer signifying that the autopilot was disengaged RIGHT as it was touching down :)

  • what was the 10 call out for? is that the altimeter?

  • Cat I RVR for sure

  • Ten (point)!

(It was scoring with the landing)

  • 10!!!!!

  • LMFAO!!!!...... 10!

  • Hilarious!

  • good video but it isnt cat III......that is cat I weather. but nice video anyway

  • EPIC!

  • Looks like they land so smooth that GPWS didnt realized they´re on ground ^^

  • lol :P

  • that 10 was probably for the grade for the landing =]

  • @PuffMac ?

  • Hahahah, Probably caused because the ground was elevated?..HAhaha.. but that was funny :P

  • LOL the pilots cracked up

  • hahaha !

  • Well, maybe the GPWS sensor was 10 feet above the ground...

  • @Tabby266 radio altimeter*

  • haha, 10. lol

  • Jajajajajaja. Nice!

  • auto pilot malfunctions after landing...

  • Fast reverser!

  • very foggy!! nice autoland !!

  • what's this sound?

  • @Manlezl

    autopilot switch off sound

  • @Manlezl The clicking sound during approach is the automatic trim adjusment. The siren after touchdown is the autopilot being disengaged.

  • Ha GPWS Fail!

  • WOW that is INSANE!

  • I don't think this is actually a CATIII, its a CATII

  • @BakoFlyer24 How do you know, you cannot do an autoland with CATII

  • @BakoFlyer24 Its accually a CATIII A, due to the decision height being lower than 100 meters, And the autopilot was turned off before landing.......just sayin

  • Please allow your videos to be supported on iPhone and iPad Ty.

  • Hahah nice.

  • "ten" ahahahhahah lmao gpws fail thats awesome

  • #LOL GPWS #FAIL

  • GPWS: TEN!!

    Lol wtf? Epic failure.

  • First time ever seen this happen.

  • LOL GPWS FAIL!!

  • ха ха ах))

  • @applesweeter shut up

  • @aolambros

Please respect my freedom of speech and my right to ask others for opinion. :(

  • @applesweeter

Haha, this is Youtube, no freedom of speech. There are spammers here, and what you are doing my friend, is spamming.

  • @aolambros

    SPAMMED

  • @applesweeter

um, what? if 1 person flags it as spam, that doesn't mean that it will show as spam. Stupid girl, get a life.

  • lol that gpws is a piece of shit

  • why they laugh? o.O

  • @jjtc100 b/c its supposed to say "ten" when it's actually 10feet off the ground. Not when its already on the ground. It failed b/c it's supposed to be precise.

  • @daavi8tor i didn't pay attentoion to that lol sorry

  • LOL...TEN

  • Pretty lights!

  • awesome pilots

  • ...TEN!

  • thats the freakiest thing ever landing at night with dense fog

  • @allenspedface32 isnt it ? :)

  • Gotta write up to maintenance on the GPWS :)

  • Freaky GPWS :D

  • lol, after landing the plane says right before departing the runway.... 10 lol!

  • and even the pilots laugh it out!

  • @JerdooFlightX That caused the flight crew to break into laughter as well :)))

  • @JerdooFlightX

Runways are not the same height ASL for their entire length lol.

  • Nice how are you coming in?

  • Thats not right! The Pilots landed the planeby hand. You can here that the PF switch off autopilot before touchdown. So thats not really automatic land. Thats only a CAT III approach thats all. But GPWS is funny.

  • Big fail of GPWS.

Ah, i hope it you don't get that with the 737 NG.

  • AHaha pilots laughing when the GPWS announces 10.

  • Now when you say "autoland," what does that mean? Does it mean the aircraft by itself lands using the autopilot mode?

  • @Guywhowearsunderwear Yes, airliners have the capability of landing completely "Hands-free" the pilot just monitors the insruments and sets the flap levels. I hope this helps.

  • *Plane Lands*

    20 Secs Later

    GPWS: 10

  • @OneBloodBrotha Hahaha.. even the crew laugh..
