  • For the record, this movie makes more sense as an addendum to Thom Ryng's facsimile of "The King in Yellow" than it does as an adaptation of the Chambers story. Without the reference of the play, the movie is more than little obtuse.

  • Whats the music called? I'm diggin it. :)

  • @karex303

I don't know if Mark Fauver, the composer, named the tracks. And I think that somewhere, he released a CD of the music he's done for my Lovecraft movies (The Yellow Sign and Return to Innsmouth), but I can't remember what or where it is. • @aaronjv Sweet bro! thanks! :)

Loving the trailer by the way. Hast- I mean the King in Yellow fascinates me.

  • I just got my copy of this today and I thought it was very well done, managing to be absolutely faithful to the atmosphere of the original story without following it slavishly. I thought the cast were excellent, especially Dale Snowberger, and the film left me with a real sense of having had a brief glimpse of a much wider mystery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes horror that affects you intellectually rather than tries to sicken you with gruesome special effects.

  • the things i would do to that ice-box

  • I can't say it enough I love this movie! Even tho I've only had it for 13 days, I've already set some kind of record for number of times I've watched it lolz. A fine adaptation and overall an amazing movie-more people really need to see it!!!

  • these types of films are rare these days that manage to freak you aout without using bloods and guts

  • I. Love. This. Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAH mostly for shawna (esp Shawna in that dress (WOWZERS!!!!) but

every1 did a great job in this amazing movie. Aaron, ur a genuis keep up the amazing work! :D

  • Thanks! I haven't talked to Shawna in a while, but last I heard she was going to direct her own adaptation of a Lovecraft film (a short).

I hope I can get a special thanks in the movie for turning her on to Lovecraft (that can be read the wrong way, but don't).

She was great to work with; I hope I get a chance to do so again.

  • Really? Sounds awesome if true. Ah ur lucky you got to work with her once I'd sell my soul for that opp.

  • Ooh, creepy!

  • A faithful adaptaion? I didn't think those existed lol. Well I guess I'll find out for myself later today, either way, shawna waldron is oh about 75% of the reason I bought it the other 25% being that I love the king in yellow.

  • Thanks for the response aaronjv, mighty destroyer of comments :D

  • i always remembered having a crush on Shawna Waldron when she was on that family rules show.

  • Netflix also carries this for rental.

  • I recently heard an audio podcast of the original version of this very creepy tale. If this trailer is any indication, this DVD will be a breath of fresh air, as fresh as an open grave!

  • I loved the first couple stories in this book, especially the Prophet's Paradise, not really a story but creepy all the same.

  • WHoa..WaS ThaT ShawNa?
