  • This has now become my absolute FAVORITE song by Josh. r0ckpapersciss0rs, I agree. Van Gogh + Josh Groban is indeed too awesome for words

  • Vincent Van Gogh was an amazing painet. He is with no doupt one of my favorites. I love his painting Starry Night. Its dark yet colorfull at the same time which is hard to do. Great tribute. Josh Groban, intresting choice. His voice works well for this song.

  • your crazy!!! i mean you vincent van gogh!!

  • you mean, i vincent van gogh

  • Always great to see works by Vincent. However, I can do without the song which teeters on the maudlin. Who is Groban anyway?

  • the question is, do you see when you watch?

  • Another Vincent is a man called Jose Rizal... a man ahead of his times, misunderstood and martyred for his dream of freedom for his people, his country. Please check him out for he is an artist too that might appeal to your quest for genius. Thanks for the share.

  • this is GREAT

  • josh groban is amazing

if u really more about vincent's life it's very interesting :)

  • i love it to bits. Van Gogh + Josh Groban = too awesome for words

  • firelunamoon,

You have the heart of Van Gogh and that's why you created this beautiful work of art as a tribute to the great artistic genius. The music is the best ever of the song as it reaches down into the soul's singer voicing Van Gogh's...feeling. The artistic combination of canvas-music-video brought me to tears as all great art does.

  • i think it should be remembered that Don Mclean was the the one who wrote the song. Josh Groban's version is good, but credit does to to Mclean first

  • I agree - Don Mclean's wonderful tribute to Van Goch ranks with the best - but suitable for voice like Groban's as well. Great art!

  • Shush. Mclean had to give Groban permission to make his own version of this song.

  • Agree, Don Mclean represents this song. His voice more connected to Van Gogh's work.

  • beautiful song x was played at mi cousins funeral today 6/9/07 micheal morgan r.i.p xx bex

  • im sooo sorry. my prayers go out to you.

  • wow. im speachless, they should put a tv with that beside Vincent's artwork. kus it deservs to be there with it.

  • Marvelous, just marvelous. Beyond that, I'm speechless.

  • Josh Groban is an inspiration. As is Vincent Van Gogh.

  • This is really lovely. I hadn't heard Josh Groban's version of the song before - Wow!

  • this was very well done...i really loved it....

  • Took 73 years for me to find out he did it for love...sad but beautiful at the same time.

  • Lovely tribute.. Well done

  • Well done... Well done indeed. I almost cried at the end... Touching paintings, touching artist, and touching song to be the icing on the cake. Well done indeed.

  • That was really well done. I love that you used his acutal work! That made it really strong!!!

    Beautiful!!!

  • But I could have told you, Vincent,

this world was never meant for one

    as beautiful as you....

    Well done!

  • Oh~! Thank you for this post~! Awesome ... this means a lot to me .. for reasons that will go unsaid.

    Blessings,

    Lauren

  • Loved it! The montage is really well done.

  • Very cool.

The artist himself would feel the intent of this endeavor.

    Lovely. Timeless.

  • Josh Groban c'est la meilleure chose qu'on a eu dans les dernieres 20 ans!

  • i love this vid!

  • great video, but the cover was not really tasteful. you cant try to sound all choral.... and expect it to be beautiful.

  • wtf?

  • Vincent's work will continue to touch and inspire for centuries to come...what a dear soul was Vincent van Gogh; as was his charitable brother Theo, without whom we might never have known of this genius. Thank you for posting this moving tribute!

  • Really beautiful...made me cry, especially the part where the video holds on his signature. Made me think about a man who really wrote that, who really painted those wondrous paintings. I recently went to NYC to the Met and saw "Wheatfield with Cyprusses"...OMG...highlight of the trip. I could have stood there forever.

  • Tribute to vincent van gough Excellent job :)

  • Great video!

  • I love vincent van gogh's paintings and josh groban's voice. Wow what a combo.. Amazing

    Thanks for posting
