Free, free, free. I keep reading that in virtually every video with wild animals in them. Um, have you people failed to notice that there is precious little wild for these animals to be free in? Have you not read about extinctions happening daily and some species only still here due to evil zoo's and horrible pet owners? I suppose you feel dead or poisoned by pollution or eaten by savages is freedom. 'screw that. Until we can protect habitat we must protect the animals.
he should be free, not in a cage! a man in a cage means he's imprisoned foe some guilt. what guilt has this animal? NONE! so free them all don't keep them in cages for the sick pleasure of some people!
The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, where this was shot, is one of the best zoos in the country. ALthough the lemur is 'barred', he is not caged. This was shot in the Lied Jungle, the largest open-air walkthough jungle in the world. He is free to roam as he pleases.

hehe I own a ring-tailed lemur myself they are pretty sweet but must be careful if you plan on geting or owning one... they go crazy if something is wrong ":o
Hey Superbattle I used to own two ringtailed Lemurs and while I agree they are pretty sweet one day my male one went crazy on me. I think maybe he saw me as a competitor since I had for him also a female companion.
My ex-husband got them from a guy who sells exotic animals in Florida, but I would only own them if you had responsible children who would take care of them or if you did not have a 9 to 5 job. They are quite a piece of work plus I thought it was sad to keep them in a cage; the cage I kept them was a bit bigger than a bathroom...

i want to get any lemur of any breed. they are amazing animals although my dog would probably not enjoy another pet.. well thats to bad for me.

He is cute...But it is sad - being in a cage all day. I would give up knowing what a lemur looks like for him to live naturally.
