Obie makes me sick! 1:19 He always just wants to sit down with others and talk it out. Fuck this guy! He's all talk and no action. He isn't a leader by any measure. All he does is talk and never decides to DO anything. Obie is no Decider! I hope he doesn't get a second term! He doesn't even deserve this one.
This is politics, and he needs to educate the public on how bad the republicans have been and will always be. He wants to air the discussions with the conservatives and show the people just how bad they are. Also, David Plouffe is becoming a stronger player and he is a much smarter politician than others in the executive office. Keep the faith my friend. We need to hold his feet to the fire.
The man's a natural politician. It's in his makeup to search for a center, however misguided that may be. It's why those Obama is a radical socialist claims are so absurd. He's governing to the right of Bill Clinton for god sake.
I don't have a clip of that, but did you happen to see one of the Bill Maher episodes where he has some 'medicine' for the Pres, called "growacet'!!! guess you had to see it.....
O'Bomber won't grow a pair. He's far too committed to the Bush Administration's agenda of allowing unbridled corporate influence into the Oval Office. He's wavered and waffled and has been spineless on anything resembling a progressive agenda, despite his campaign rhetoric.
Obama's not a leftist, despite what Limbaugh and Beck say, he's a moderate to conservative, and any progressive with a conscience didn't vote for him.
@NoRegretsForOurYouth - I actually researched my candidates, and voted for Cynthia McKinney - Green Party. She's still tearing it up, and getting more recognition on the international scene for her humanitarian efforts than she does here. I voted my conscience. It's a shame you probably didn't.
That's fine you voted Green Party, you still did vote, and researched your candidates properly. If there were more people like you, the bull elephant conservatism known as the republican party would be an after thought, but that's not the case.
It's the people who are just cynical about the government and don't bother to research or get involved, that really bother me. People like that keep conservatives in power, and that's the way they like it.
@NoRegretsForOurYouth The problem is that the mainstream corporate media doesn't believe there are more than two parties, since the others aren't big enough to vote them money, grants, and laws against competition.
95% of the people don't think a third party candidate is 'electable', because they keep buying into the false left/right paradigm, when most candidates are bought and sold and will screw over generations for a campaign contribution or to say they helped their district.
When did Republicans sit with ANY one on ANY thing? When they have power, it's "my way or high way" and Obama has wasted all this air on bringing them to the table???
@callouschristian oh BS, Obummer had the oval office, the house and the senate...he didnt need the Republicans for crap...he just doesnt have what it takes.

I agree entirely but I would substitute the word "leader" for "politician". ;-)

@almamatters2471 They didn't elect him, but he is everyone's President. It's tough. Politicians by definition are compromised.

Are you telling me, that when it came time to vote for Obama/Biden or McCain/PALIN, you stayed home in protest?

@mexcurmudgeon the real problem is that we don't have proportional representation.
