The first time I heard this song was in the movie "Paper Moon." Pinky Tomlin sang it.

@papermooner A very hard time for very many, don't forget. Would have been great to have had money in NYC and be able to attend a great classical concert and go out afterward to a club and hear the Boswells or Cab Calloway or many others.

I don't know but maybe someone who sees this does. I was surprised that their version of "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter" by Fats Waller sold better than Waller's original.
