It's only running slowly because of the low amount of RAM. Watch how the screen freezes when it needs to play a sound or show an explosion -- that's the hard drive sending the data instead of the RAM because the RAM is already full from everything else.

No, he got a low frame rate because his computer's not up to the task.

He recorded with a video camera pointed at the screen, which obviously doesn't affect the computer's performance. ;)

oh, didn't noticed the camera :P, anyway 9600 was a great graphic chip (Half Life Lost Coast and Episode 1 and 2 run with HDR on it, same for rest 9550,9600,9500,9700 and 9800), nvidia HDR only when 6800 appered, 1 gen later ;)

em seguida troquei por um AM2 X2 3600+ e não tem comparação.

Para resumir compre o X2 3600+ se for comprar um sempron para AM2 o preço é compatível

hmm a partir da core "eu axo" num tem mais gravidade deve se a paradise lost ou exodus entao Sua melhor opçao em placas pra joga crysis nao é uma 9800 qpesar de roda na boa em 800x600 num é mtu bom pq mtu tempo da dor de cabeça. e eu troquei a 9600 pela X1650 e cara pode pega que vale apena ta uns 250 conto a AGP ai vc pode faze uma gambiarra e bota algumas coisa no very high viu se tive mais grana vai de X1950 AGP ou 7600 Nvidia

let the resolution at 800 *600.

edit the game config.. put at the water effects 3 for high and shaders 3 for high also it will run more cool and better effects..

LOL, I've tried it on my 9600XT also. But on P4 2.8E GHz system. The loading is so slow that I don't bother to even play it after finished loading

You're using shaders in low, its the most important setting to raise. Shadows in this mode aren't really en medium.

But, its ok for your pc.
