Bottom line is, If your wrong then it's your eternity you put at risk.
And some people say they are not scared of hell, but that's nonsense when hell is unimaginable.
Okay. Where is your proof for god? Or for hell? You believe in something without evidence. That's the problem with you theists. You think you know something which no one could POSSIBLY know.
"I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world. Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence." -Richard Dawkins
You know, when you really sit down to think about it, I think god would like atheists more than any theist. Why would he give us free will and the ability of thought, and then want us to believe in something without any evidence whatsoever, and just going off of blind faith? Atheists are moral without fear of spiritual retribution, nor do they wage wars in "God's" name. Now, while I still believe heaven and hell are bullshit, I'd say it's YOU who is putting your eternity at risk. :)
@hXcDiedWithHitler Everyone has the ability to "think." but "how" you think about is what matters. You can think about right and wrong on life, and choose what path you will be heading. But you need knowledge to pick the right one. And like i said before you choose to believe it or not. He wont prove anything to anyone. But God is Love, and just like you cant prove love exist, does not mean love is not there.
And just like we cant prove it, you cant prove evolution either, Evolution is a theory
Love is an emotion. Is god an emotion? Because if that is your argument, that God is a biochemical reaction in the brain based on thousands of succesful generations of evolutionary necessity, I am right there with ya. God is a reaction to your own mortality and ignorance, coupled with your feral urge to do as little as possible to get answers to hard questions. I would not dispute that. (cont.)
But if you are suggesting that God is a thing somewhere apart from your brain that does things and accomplishes goals and such, then you are implying Love is that sort of thing as well, and we have the same problem we started with: you make insane claims you can't back up.
There is physical proof of love and it is observable and experiential through the senses. Looking on, hearing the voice of, touching, scent and taste of the beloved and those we love fraternally, our family and friends induces feelings of emotional well-being and happiness in us and them. Our loving relationships with others are sustained and enhanced through interactive, reciprocal acts of kindness, protection, loyalty and nurture.
And yeah, evolution is a theory. But what you don't seem to understand is that a theory is the highest level an idea can attain in science. There is soooooo much solid, empirical evidence proving evolution. Even the Pope believes evolution. Your rejection of it might as well be the rejection of 2+2=4. You know what else is a theory? Gravity. Feel free to jump off a bridge to test it.
And do you know why gravity is a theory because when your far away from it like in outer space, there's no gravity.
Math is not a theory, science is.
And i rather believe in God, than the fact that science "thinks" we come from apes.
And if we did we would be more dumb than apes, because in "Evolution" you decline in mass and matter. therefore we would of been dumber than an ape, and an ape should of been smarter. Ex: dinosaurs to reptiles.
Hahaha, wow. Does it hurt to be as stupid and ignorant as you? Try opening a book sometime. (And I don't mean the Bible)
Evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. (cont.)
Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape-like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered.
We didn't evolve from apes. Humans and chimps share a COMMON ANCESTOR. Like I said, open a book. This will all become obvious.
So you'd rather believe in something with ZERO evidence that thinks it knows all the answers, rather than use common sense and look at something like science that is actually DOING SOMETHING to find out the REAL answers.
Evolution: Nothing happened to nothing, then exploded into something, that something created apes which is how we come up.
(Evolution does sate we came from Apes.)
That sounds more ridiculous than Religion. And Evolution has ZERO evidence also, I think you should open a book and read it, because Science its a huge theory, and guess what! a theory is a set of ideas explaining a situation, therefore, its not REAL! In the end you still die, wheres your science then?
@17DaMaria Wow, I'm not sure if you're trolling me or what.
Evolution has NOTHING to do with the origin of species of the origins of the universe. You're thinking of abiogenesis (origin of species) and the Big Bang. Evolution does NOT state we came from apes. We are related, but we did not evolve directly from apes. Evolution has zero evidence? There is evidence all over. Open your fucking eyes. Read a science book. Go to a museum. Even a quick google search for "evidence for evolution" (cont.)
@17DaMaria The argument that nothing happened then everything just appeared applies more to you theists. I believe in logical, scientific evidence. You believe that a magical man snapped his fingers and POOF everything was just there. If god created everything, who created god, and so on? (cont.)
The theory of quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity together help us understand how universes could have formed out of nothing. Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke god to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going.
@hXcDiedWithHitler LMFAO, if there's nothing, then there's no Gravity....... haha you and science needs to make their mind up, and Grow up and accept the fact that us humans are not the smartest things in the world, especially with a bunch of people believing we exploded out of nothing, haha you sound so ignorant.
But go ahead and believe nothing, because that's just where you might go. You aint hurting nobody.
Maybe you should re-read what I said and not make some bullshit statements. And actually, yes. Humans ARE the smartest things in the world. Atleast science is doing something to actually solve problems and figure out how we're here and why. Religion does nothing. I love how you say I'm ignorant, when apparently the only book you've read in years is presumably the Bible. Open your mind and eyes and look at the bigger picture. You'll realize it's you who's the ignorant one.
ROFL. Science has no proof?! If you went to medical school like you "claimed" you have, wtf do you think that is? NEWS FLASH: Medicine IS science, you ignorant piece of garbage. You're such a pathetic, ignorant theist. Anything you say from here on out, I'll just block you. I've got no time for your childish arguments and flawed logic.
@hXcDiedWithHitler Of course you will block me, Atheist are just scared, maybe if you went to school instead of living off your parents you would know.

Guess who becomes an even bigger fool when you refuse to even look at the evidence? That is religion in a nutshell.

about 10 sec in you close your eyes and add face pressure and it looked like you shit your pants because you were scared of the camera so wow athiest are tough
You're right, I can't disprove god absolutely, 100%. But logically, I can bring the probability of his existence down to less than 1%. I mean, just because you can't disprove fairies, does that really mean you believe in them? I would have to call you a fool to believe in such childish myths.
"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." -Christopher Hitchens
@hXcDiedWithHitler Why are you arrogantly calling someone you don't even know a fool. You don't know my opinions and you have completely missed my point. There are several ways you can approach life. Either you base it on something that is always explained 100% scientifically or on faith or somewhere between. No one can prove their point 100%, so it comes down to personal choice. You're just an immature child who thinks he can get respect by repeating someone else's words. Grow up!
I apologize, can you point out the part where I directly called you a fool? I seemed to have missed that. I give my opinion thoughtfully, and you cry foul and tell me to grow up?
If you want to believe in the supernatural and superstitious, be my guest. More power to you. The point that you're arguing for Postulatism, howeve, is astonishingly ignortant and is more or less just masturbation. Perhaps you're the one who has some growing up to do, sir.
@hXcDiedWithHitler I think anyone that reads your reply will agree that it is arrogant and making cowardly and veiled insults just as in your last post. I think that if you look into the science itself you will find that there are all sorts of contradictions and different interpretations which in the end come down to acknowledging nobody really knows the truth, they can only strive for it. If you think being agnostic is astonishingly ignorant, then your attitude is astonishingly ignorant.
I'm getting bored of this tactic you seem to use, where you manipulate whatever I say into what YOU _want_ it to mean, and not what I _said_ it to mean. I haven't insulted you at all. In fact, you are the only one who has insulted me, telling me to "Grow up."
What contradictions, could you be a bit more precise? Do you believe it's not gravity holding us down to earth? Do you believe that we are not cousins to chimpanzees? All of these can be proven. (cont.)
When you said, "Nobody can prove their point 100%", that is an argument for Postulatism. (Perhaps you should look it up?) I made no mention of Agnosticism. In fact, I would rather someone be agnostic and question things, than be a blind follower of Allah or Jesus.
@hXcDiedWithHitler That's rich, I think your trying to do the manipulation by suggesting someone is something insulting if they have a particular point of view. Telling you to grow up isn't an insult, but is self evident.
Firstly, what is your definition of God? There are many, and not just the anthropomorphised theistic view. Next without conjecture, you have to explain consciousness and the origins of the universe. Do you believe in parallel universes and that we are automatons for instance?
@inspectorcrud Hahaha, oh I see what this is about. You still have your conviction that because if someone believes in fairies, I think of them as a fool. Well, be that as it may, but it is the truth. I don't think that's any indication of my "maturity level", but rather my ability to think logically. Just because no one has ever seen an invisible pink unicorn we should carry on like on exists? I don't think so. (cont.)
And if you believe in fairies, or even defend anyone who believes in fairies, I'm afraid I can't take you seriously. Would you defend someone who believes in Santa or the Easter Bunny as well?
My definition of god is the "surpreme being", the creator of the Universe, or any other mini-deity (such as those found in Buddhism, ancient Greek mythology, etc.) There are many different conceptions of god, and I deny them all. (cont.)
The idea that some people consider god as a "force" or what have you, isn't really correct. God is viewed as a being. Whether he's incorporeal or a personal being is up for debate by theists. Personally, I couldn't care less.
In regards to explaining consciousness, I really can't say. And the origins of the universe is still a mystery, but I am in favor of the Big Bang Theory obviously. It is much more realistic than a magic man creating it with the snap of his finger(cont)
@hXcDiedWithHitler Do I believe in parallel universes? Good question. I am in favor of the many-worlds interpretation, but I'm not very well read on quantum mechanics and whatnot. As a matter of fact, I have a copy of A Briefer History of Time lying around in my apartment that I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and read, so perhaps I'll take the opportunity to do so. (cont.)
FINALLY, I'm not sure what you mean by automatons. But I will say I am a fan of determinism, and can argue from a secular standpoint against freewill.
I really hate this YouTube character limit. I suppose we can just take this into a private message if you desire.
@hXcDiedWithHitler No that is not what its about, rather I object to the way you defend a position by ridiculing it. That is a non argument, and skirting around the question.
Why haven't you addressed the points in my previous post? Is it because no one can claim categorically one way or the other. If this is true it would make your assertion weak, and you would have to accept that your agnostic. The eventual answer will come either from science, or divine intervention, not philosophy.
@hXcDiedWithHitler There you go again with the insults. Its like talking to a comatosed lobotomised donkey, because you won't take on board what I'm telling you.
You still haven't addressed the points from the previous post about the definition of God, parallel universes, automatons etc.
@inspectorcrud And there you go again with your idiocy. It's like I'm talking to a brick wall, because you won't go back and READ all the posts where I addressed everything you just said.
@hXcDiedWithHitler Are you suffering with split personality disorder, because it seems you are having a conversation with yourself! If you want to answer my questions, why do you address them to yourself? Seems disingenuous to say the least.
They were a chain of continuous posts, therefore I just replied in succession. That's beside the point though. What does my YouTube etiquette have to do with anything? You're feeling like even more of an idiot now, so you resort to empty insults with no meaning behind them. Seems ignorant to say the least.
@hXcDiedWithHitler I think you dish out insults frivolously , other people don't have to do much of anything.
If you had answered my questions directly, I could have responded properly.
By the sound of it you don't understand Buddhism to pool it with all the other doctrines. The Big Bang theory is hotly disputed by many within the scientific community. If you believe in determinism, then you would have to accept that we are merely biological robots responding to stimuli and there is no self.
To disprove what kind of God? The Gods from any religion can be disproved at any moment.All religions are a nonsense full of fake stories and contradictions.
If there is any kind of supreme force in the Universe definitely has nothing to do with any God from any religion. Both God and Allah as they are described in the Bible And Quoran are immoral and cruel dictators.
Indeed! Not to mention incest, rape, genocide, infanticide, misogyny, murder of pregnant women, prostitution of children, kidnapping, taking body parts as trophies, sex in public, eating feces and drinking urine, sexual contests, etc. etc.
Why anyone even believes in such a primitive and barbaric "god" will elude me for the rest of my days, I imagine. One would be better off worshipping Hitler, Pol Pot or Saddam Hussein. Atleast they exist(ed)!
That stupid question, about having nothing to live for, actually applies to the damn christians. After all, this life is just a staging area. Hurry the hell up and get along to your eternal paradise. We, on the other hand, will take our sweet time... Because this is our only life, and we want to enjoy it as long as possible. Christians can be so, so, so dumb.
Exactly. Why do I _need_ to believe in a god? I believe in myself, my family, and my friends, and living my life happily. Why that isn't enough for the religiously afflicted, I'll never know.
I've come to realize that most "Christians" aren't really Christians at all, but rather selfish cowards who use the excuse and scapegoat of God to do what they want and getting themselves salvation.
Odd how the christian trolls are crediting a ''god'' for a creation but can't prove the existance of the god it's like trying revese prove a theroy to somthing that theres no proof of.. The biggest flaw lies in the scripure of ''he created'' when the he is a nonproveable by any logical standard...

What contradictions, could you be a bit more precise? Do you believe it's not gravity holding us down to earth? Do you believe that we are not cousins to chimpanzees? All of these can be proven. (cont.)
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler
When you said, "Nobody can prove their point 100%", that is an argument for Postulatism. (Perhaps you should look it up?) I made no mention of Agnosticism. In fact, I would rather someone be agnostic and question things, than be a blind follower of Allah or Jesus.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler That's rich, I think your trying to do the manipulation by suggesting someone is something insulting if they have a particular point of view. Telling you to grow up isn't an insult, but is self evident.
Firstly, what is your definition of God? There are many, and not just the anthropomorphised theistic view. Next without conjecture, you have to explain consciousness and the origins of the universe. Do you believe in parallel universes and that we are automatons for instance?
inspectorcrud 7 months ago
@inspectorcrud Hahaha, oh I see what this is about. You still have your conviction that because if someone believes in fairies, I think of them as a fool. Well, be that as it may, but it is the truth. I don't think that's any indication of my "maturity level", but rather my ability to think logically. Just because no one has ever seen an invisible pink unicorn we should carry on like on exists? I don't think so. (cont.)
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler
(cont.)
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler
It is much more realistic than a magic man creating it with the snap of his finger(cont)
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler Do I believe in parallel universes? Good question. I am in favor of the many-worlds interpretation, but I'm not very well read on quantum mechanics and whatnot. As a matter of fact, I have a copy of A Briefer History of Time lying around in my apartment that I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and read, so perhaps I'll take the opportunity to do so. (cont.)

@hXcDiedWithHitler
FINALLY, I'm not sure what you mean by automatons. But I will say I am a fan of determinism, and can argue from a secular standpoint against freewill.
I really hate this YouTube character limit. I suppose we can just take this into a private message if you desire.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler No that is not what its about, rather I object to the way you defend a position by ridiculing it. That is a non argument, and skirting around the question.
Why haven't you addressed the points in my previous post? Is it because no one can claim categorically one way or the other. If this is true it would make your assertion weak, and you would have to accept that your agnostic. The eventual answer will come either from science, or divine intervention, not philosophy.
inspectorcrud 7 months ago
@inspectorcrud
I addressed every single point and question in your last post. Obviously I couldn't put it all in one post, hence the "(cont.)"
Maybe go back and read them all instead of making yourself look like an idiot.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler There you go again with the insults. Its like talking to a comatosed lobotomised donkey, because you won't take on board what I'm telling you.
You still haven't addressed the points from the previous post about the definition of God, parallel universes, automatons etc.
inspectorcrud 7 months ago
@inspectorcrud And there you go again with your idiocy. It's like I'm talking to a brick wall, because you won't go back and READ all the posts where I addressed everything you just said.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@hXcDiedWithHitler Are you suffering with split personality disorder, because it seems you are having a conversation with yourself! If you want to answer my questions, why do you address them to yourself? Seems disingenuous to say the least.
inspectorcrud 7 months ago
@inspectorcrud
They were a chain of continuous posts, therefore I just replied in succession. That's beside the point though. What does my YouTube etiquette have to do with anything? You're feeling like even more of an idiot now, so you resort to empty insults with no meaning behind them. Seems ignorant to say the least.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago
@inspectorcrud Also, if you don't want me to insult you, then don't make it so easy.
hXcDiedWithHitler 7 months ago

Both God and Allah as they are described in the Bible And Quoran are immoral and cruel dictators.

you should watch the series ancient aliens i think this explains our need for gods more plausible than a invisible magic man in the sky anyway

@djvision20022000
Funny you should bring that up, actually. I watched the whole series on Netflix not too long ago, haha. Very interesting stuff.

@hXcDiedWithHitler there is a second series now gets even better lol

Way too logical, well thought-out and articulated to be accepted by a religious person

I think if the biblical god existed he may have taken you up on the death request....I mean he is quite fond of killing.

@StarfaQtory

Christians can be so, so, so dumb.
indignant99 7 months ago
@indignant99
