It's ironic how so many people have been dumbed down and watered down from listening to all this phony chessy so-called music of today. This is still FUNK,classic and listen to the intensity of the beat, timeless. At this rink in ohio you could hear this loud rumble as these old head roller skaters would tear a hole in the floor on this
Ah this reminds me so much of my first ever disco, and we danced like crazy to it, I had some crazy cloghoppers on, and we did the same dance to this as we did to the detroit emeralds `feel the need` haha, good times.
While in Cleveland, Ohio, I first heard this on CKLW a progressive powerful AM station (during the late '60s to mid '70s) out of Winsor, Ont, Canada. The cut still knocks me off my feet over three decades later. This is The Incredible Bongo Band rockin' at its finest.
@SolarisBreeze57 Somebody that finally remembers CKLW! I live in Central Ohio and that was the station to listen to moreso than our own local radio stations!
This whas in to the eigties the tune of the Radio show Gouden uren wich was broadcasted twice a week in The netherlands by the Tros present by Peter teekamp
This brings me back to St. Rita's Day Camp Entertainment night where I lead my girl campers in a dance. We had so much fun. I finally found this song after searching for days! Woo hoo!
@MarkeatonLord google dvdvideosoft it will give you a choice to convert all your music from youtube to mp3.stick on your ipod or phone it will convert to what you like and its all free.i discovered it and i havent looked back.well worth it

Fantastic great dance record. I used to play it in the 70ties when I was a DJ in dance clubs in Belgium. This kind of music was very typical for dance clubs and it was the start for the Disco music. was the start to the Disco music.
I have been looking for this. My copy was stolen and I was LIVID!! Thanks for posting. Reminds me of my teenage years. We danced a while to this one. Five stars and a fav.
Finally got the right song with the right titile. BONG FOREVER! Boy, this would sound even better if it were played along-side Hugh Masakela's "Up, Up, and Away"!
