Thiis mission cause dme to slam my controller and break it. After 2 hours on it, i got the last one with 1 sec left, but theat shit animation that takes forever to xplode,, still lets them use lazors, so i died...so close....arghh!!!!!

Praxis ain't stupid. He wants to rule over the city. If he wanted to kill the underground he would just grab a 1000 men and kill Thron. But, that would lead everyone to revolt against Praxis, and take him out of the rule of Haven. Just for your understanding guys. That's how I would think of it...

If the people thought Torn is the good guy and Praxis is really bad, the Underground would've won already. Praxis' advantage is that he makes it look like he's the only one who can stop thr Metal Heads. People probably haven't even HEARD of Torn.

Praxis could blow up the hideout and spread propaganda that the people who died there were enemies of the city, saboteurs, allies of the Metal Heads, Dark Eco mutants... nobody would object. Praxis would just get more points.

Praxis said it him-self. Without the metal heads attacking he wouldn't be able to stay in office as baron.That's why he gives them eco in return to attack them just enough to be a commander inchief like our own president. Plus as a result he wants to not get kicked out like one of our worst presidents(Nixon)cause he is doing a conspiresy like him...

You didn't get my point. I meant that whatever Torn was or really is, to the public he's the enemy of the Baron. Baron is the "savior" of haven, so Torn is the enemy of Haven. Nobody would revolt if the Baron got rid of "the enemy".

It's Baron's failed plans that make him stupid.

And, he DOES try to publicly destroy the Underground with the Blast-Bots.

Exactly what "more" does he know? I said it's a stupid idea for Praxis to send three Blast-Bots and a handful of guards through the entire city to the Underground HQ when, as he apparently well knows the location of it and can get guards near it (other missions and city patrols) he could just send in a much larger attacking force from nearby when Jak isn't around to protect Torn as obviously he is trying to kill Torn in this mission. So I don't know why I'm supposedly the dumb one here.

I hated this mission. An easy way to do it is to stand close to the underground base with full ammo for everything then kill them all. That's how i did it.

Wow you finished that mission quick. Yea I also wondered y Praxis didn't kill Torn and Samos when he had a chance since the Baron got in contact with Torn in a previous misson or as you said have a raid on the place.

I mean a completely normal looking, townie-like guy who just walks around aimlessly looking depressed like everyone else, who then gives a signal to baron when he sees Jak leave.

The whole area is filled Krimzon Guards already anyway, one of them could just as well call Praxis and ask him to send about 50 guys there pronto. Or those 3 blast-bots, but ship them closer to the hideout with a small escort, maybe 3 Hellcats.

If I were the city's ruler, I wouldn't blow up anybody, BUT if I was Praxis himself, I would be more efficient in what he does. Praxis tries to be evil but he doesn't do it right.

Nobody here is saying what they would really do, we're all just laughing at the Baron's stupidity.
