Haha good 'ol Hawthorne. Was out there for a desert race, coming back into town in our chase truck we ended up spotting a motocross track on the base. My Dad who was driving at the time decided to go drive on the track in our truck, saw a 15ft or so table top, asks if he thinks we can make it, before he's even finished asking he yells, "Hold on!" Tell you what, I've ridden a Honda ST1100 all over Nevada, doing LD rallying, and there were a few times I thought, "y'know, 120 MPH isn't fast enough to make this go by at a reasonable rate".

You feel very alone at 1 AM when passing through Rachel and you find the one fuel station is not only closed, but does not have pay-at-the-pump and the next station is farther away than you think you can go on the fuel left.

A bike which gets 22 MPG at extended high speed will get great MPG @ 35 MPH.

I've seen the 2 first "Live & Let Drive" videos and they are SOOOO MUUUUCH better (and over-produced) compared to the average DRIVE video (yes, well above Chris Harris), that someone at the DRIVE channel (probably JF Musial) must realize that you CAN NOT publish the work of Alex Roy AND Tom Morningstar in the same stream as the usual DRIVE videos.

Now JF (or whoever is leading DRIVE), get a proper, professional website.

Highly produced content like TUNED, LIVE AND LET DRIVE, and CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS - are shot and edited WEEKS before they air. Road Testament, Drive Central, and SHAKEDOWN are shot and edited within three hours of airing.

We understand there are different types of audiences. Some people are here to learn as much as they can about this industry while others look for entertainment.

I thought this "DRIVE" channel was supposed to be all about automotive enthusiasm..... the only thing i got out of this was the car was a g35 something or other, and it had red interior..... this series would have been better if you took it seriously, talk more about the car and its history...and have a real destination, say.....Bonneville Salt Flats, or something that had to do with automobiles..... this just felt like you wasted my time. I can relate to what Alex was saying, I was once in upstate NY near the canadian border, being a city boy, i was amazed at the extremely vast amounts of nothingness that was up there.. GPS didn't work properly, towns were ages away from each other and the emptiness was overwhelming. Gave me a sense of how much of the US is still rural area.

So far I'm really loving this drive channel, it is really Top Gear quality, if not better. The 3 part series is good, not too long, but not too short. One thing I do dislike is the 2 minute endings when you're rolling the credits with some other video playing in the background, cool idea, but too long. I always feel like if I don't watch the whole ending, I'm going to miss something really cool. I feel you could shorten the endings a bit, but I'm just ONE of the viewers here. Good job guys!

I was really, really pissed at having spent some time trying to watch Alex Roy be a car show host. Please take this as constructive criticism,....this was sooooooooo boring. The car, lingo, the "comedy", Dr. Evil....the whole thing was cheesy. Stop trying to be Top Gear, they are a success because they are revolutionary and not because they imitated any other program.
