Mexico has a rich blend of different backgrounds from all over the world, Spain, Arabic countries, Germany, China, French, Japan, Irish, India (yes India - specifically Punjab are settled in the area of Mexicali in Baja California last name Singh) etc... I am Mexican, but my ancestors are from Spain and Germany, and I do not call my self Spanish-German... I am just Mexican. I have studied the story of my country and I love and call my people every Hispanic country.

Barbara Mori is from Paraguay. She got the beauty but not the acting skills that also need the vein inserted in the genes. Mori is a diva but she is not an actress. Perhaps her looks is the reason she only is put into protagonic roles, but she needs a lot of training. I don't know if acting ,as an artistic skill, could be learned. I doubt it!

Barbara's mom is Uruguayan with a Libanese and Basque background. Dad is half Japanese as u can tell by the origins of her last name (Mori).

Barbara was born in Uruguay but grew up in Mexico.

She nationalized herself in Mexico by choice.

In an interview she stated she feels Mexican and considers herself Mexican as well all her other origins. Regardless she's a stunning beauty!
