I see what you all mean. I tend have the view that that the shrouded veil of is constatnly Forced down by the heavy-hand of "Music Incorporated".So, we cannot see how beautiful the thier art might actually be.

Yep, totally agree with the previous comments........from a purely musical viewpoint, kinda makes me glad i was fortunate enough to be around before fuckin techno drum and bass speed garage, choked the life out of meaningful original music
James.........sadly not the only truly great northern band to go thru their career virtually unknown, speaks volumes about the mainstream pop industry, to whom originality and meaningful lyrics is a benchmark that can`t be reached.
roge1370: True. Something happened to music industry 10 years ago. Music with class and wit ceased to be marketed. Now everything sounds the same. You have to dig for good bands. James for me is still an awesome band.
This is one truly GREAT song. I don't understand why it's so poorly known, but I kinda like it that way. A great piece of inner monologue for those times of adversity. Sublime.
It is hard to believe this song is 10 years old and I'm only just hearing it now for the first time. It should be a bigger hit for them worldwide. Corprate Radio has stood too long in the way of true Artist and Muscicans. This song is a perfect example of an excellent song yet it overlooked like so many great songs, bands, artist, singers who's record companies never knew how to market. Very Sad.
These guys have put out quality music for many moons. I can't understand why Laid was their only big success in the US. After Laid they were so quickly forgotten here. I never was able to see them live and that sucks.
Excellent song! The lyrics and music are deep and profound.
The video almost looks like the same room that they used for the movie "Fight Club" where Edward Norton would attend all those Support Groups. Love this song!
I miss the "No words, all's been said and done" part" from the album version..yet I like the booth overlapping vocals at the end. So take the album version and add those at the end and it'd be even more amazing :). Also check out Eno's original version on the single..its both more electronic and more guitary at the same time.

I just heard it for the first time on Pandora a week ago. Really lover it! The version I have doesn't have that higher-pitched voice overlay though.
