  • its a piece of shit i would say. the is not responding to do the repair.

  • york needs to do away with it's manual jumper system used on it's higher end "affinity" products & go to either a dip switch set-up or a software set-up similar to the Carrier "infinity" all functions can be set by the software no matter what position the dip switches are set...York's user interface is nice with the HD display and all, so one would think that all settings could be set, but jumpers still must be manually moved on the ignition module..a shame really...

    I have been calling my heating contractor no answer, thats a funny thing from a company who claims 24 hour service.

    I hate being lied to and ripped off.

  • @Mostlyfun You didn't get ripped off, they just didn't set it up right. The drains on these are tricky, especially 2 years ago before they made setting them up easier. Once you get the drains right and everything working you'd be hard pressed to find anything more efficient, quiet and with better modulation control.
