  • WhereYaBoss you don't get it you will never get it.

  • I think its important to make clear that biracial/multiracial people are not "naturally" confused. What causes the confusion is the system and the labels in this American system, where most people pretend mixed people can't exist, you either have to be one or the other.

In racial systems where mixed individuals are accepted as mixed, can identify as mixed, and don't have to prove themselves; people of mixed ancestry live a very normal, stable, and unconfused life.

  • my mixed friend wishes she was white. i feel so bad for her because she doesnt like having black in her at all. i will pray for all these biracial people with racial issues in their lives to get better in their minds.

  • I will pray for them too because they need it. What's sad is that all of the people featured in that trailer are adults pass the age of 25. To think they're still confused is a travesty. I've met a few who wished they were white. Most of them are from Europe and they are so brainwashed into believing they look white that when people called them black they get angry. There was a woman who was looking at a darkskin child and saying the child looked white just because the mother was white. Sad.

  • ...LISTEN...ain't no one confused. We are telling you what you know, "WE are not BLACK and we are not WHITE". WE ARE BOTH, so how do you get someone wants to be white from that, I've been reading your post and thats what you think, the words you are trying to put into our mouths, thats not whats being said. LISTEN, my brotha...damn, Listen!!

  • LISTEN, If you are saying "I'm not black damn it!", like it's a bad thing, that's code for something. That's my point. I know when a biracial person is trying to identify with both their sides and I know when one is trying to deny their black side. I have had biracials tell me they were "Hawiian", "Italian", "Spanish" anything but black. So when I hear, "Don't call me black" I KNOW that the person has an issue. They're okay with being called anything but black. That's where the confuse lies.

  • the only issue is you don't listen...

  • @WhereYaBoss You do make an interesting point...The title of the movie is not I'm not White. Battlecatt17, I'd be interested in hearing your perspective on why that is. No judgments, true interest.
