The. Shit. This is a song that seems like it'd be so much more fun to jam to if I was an epileptic with Parkinson's disease*. *Yeah, I'm gonna get struck by lightening...
@mud409 this is quite true, but 'expertknobtwiddler' was a channel on youtube that had massive amounts of vsnares (aaron funk) tracks along with hundreds of other tracks by other artists from similar record labels (warp, rephlex, planet-mu, and even sublight). that channel had been taken down for some reason or another, and it is an appalling shame...
@TheLiarlion Agreed. I hate how people refer to artists as a person. I don't even understand the thought process behind that; is it because it's just one person creating the music? @.@ Who knows. Regardless - artist, not a person.
if you like squarepushers music search for ziggomatic 17 (hint its a track by someone else not to be named on a squarepusher video as it would be too cleche lol). It had to be said. I fucking love squarepusher as of last month though.. TOTAL GENIOUS. My fave pusher tracks so far are "The exploading Psychology", "Go Spastic" and "welcome to europe", all though i have SHIT loads of catching up to do with Tom Jenkinsons amazing music.

I think his music lacks a real motivation for making it. He's technical and can operate the machines but it lacks sublime highs and lows. It mostly all takes place at the same pace, including emotionally. I don't think that is true of certain other electronic music makers. Lacks soul.
I don't know why an honest opinion gets thumbed down so much, especially one as insightful as yours. I agree in a lot of squarepusher songs it's hard to find the lows and highs but they are definitely there in a lot of my favorite tracks by him.
damn this song is so awesome. the best one on the album. hes really pushing those square waves... lol. unlike anything else musically. i mean theres d&b out there, but this song is just completely unhinged. love it
Well since no one will answer your question in a more. let's go over soundwaves here for a second there are many types of sound waves, the most well known ones are sine, saw, ramp, triangle, and square. if you analyze a squarewave you have a waveform similar to a square in appearance. the squarewave is very often used for bass sounds.
i can never get bored of this. @uploader, what else are you a fan of? like Aphex Twin, Cirrus, etc? im so alternative. its hard to find someone with a similar taste in music.
Yes, you're entirely unique. No one else listens to this kind of music which is why their aren't massive communities of people discussing it and listening to it online. Wait...
Yes because any type of music with a large community of people talking about it online should be common enough to find people to talk to about it offline too. Oh wait, maybe you're just another person lookin for reasons to be an ass. Unfortunatly you aren't entirely unique either.

@OuroGoku Squarepusher is an artist name. A band consist of more members than one - which I believe was what ChaosEngine91 meant.
