assyrians are the decendants of the ancient akkadians and sumerians and so are the chaldeans. bes in terms of ETHNICITY we are MESOPATAMIAN. all those "names" are just tribal names and nothing more, they do NOT cover an ethnicity. proper term would be mesopatamian yes.
