Absolutely splendid performance. This song gets to me every time, and I have been listening to/singing this song (an octave down with my advanced men's choir) for two years, and this almost brought tears to my eyes. That never happens. Congratulations on nearly making a man cry haha. Spectacular performance.
I had a very tender experience doing this song in high school. Our director was waiting for the right group of women in our chamber choir to make this what it should be. It finally cam my senior year. Every time we rehearsed, not only would we as women start crying but so would all the men! Same thing happened when we took it to district and state Solo ensemble. All the judges and audiences were crying. Amazing Experience! My favorite!
i really like this recording, one problem is the overloading of the mics.... but ive gotten over it
