Where ever you got this version... thank you... bacause the dvd released from CBS video cut the end singing scene due to music rights. Thanks again!!!
Dumb question. I only started watching the NFL in 1983-84, i did not know Alex Karras later co-star of "Webster' was the analyst on MNF.
I thought for the first 12years, it was always Howard, Gifford and Dandy Don. Can someone confirm the oringal MNF team until Cossell left please thanks?
I love how after the opening moments of the sports show (insults) it goes on break and we see Howard and Oscar slapping at each other like to little boys! FUNNY! It's real quick, so watch it is too funny!
"You know what you just did? For the first time in broadcasting history you've got an audience rooting for Howard Cosell!"
You know ESPN really glorifies Howard. Fact is, yes he's a legend, but I grew up loving to hate him as did the rest of the nation.
In Woody Allen's "SLEEPER" while Woody's in the future he confirms, among other things, the new society's theory on video artifacts of Howie and ABC Sports.
Oscar and Howard were so intent on getting the best of each other... neither of them noticed that the Bengals changed their uniforms after they ran onto the field.
So so kocell

@cornerstone1019 excuse me but there is nothing opera about that song. She just sings it in the voice of a soprano.
