You very rarely get both. Jeter is a perfect leadoff/2 slot hitter. High AVG, 15 bombs, 60-70 RBI a bunch of doubles, gets on base, scores runs, steals bases. gold glove this year. I know Hanley Ramirez is one guy, but please don't even mention Jose Reyes. Something important is that IT factor too, that presence. Jeter makes every clubhouse better by adding him, ask any player on the Yanks or on the US WBC team. Even with the great lineup in NY you take Jeter out and things don't seem right.
