You can't blame them for creating this. I used this in the classroom to engage students. It's not all correct, yes, or the most serious of problems, but it assists in dialogue and interest.

Not sure if this point was made already, but for the record, the Earth is not in danger of dying. WE are in danger of killing ourselves. The earth has collectively experienced far, far, far worse catastrophies than mere humans and has rebounded beautifully each and everytime. Again, the earth is not in trouble. It will rebound as always. WE are in trouble.
