  • My God! This this terrific!

  • Hell yeah

  • DIABLO YOU ART AWESOMEUF

  • I'd say Mr. Bungle did it first, but it's nice to see a band focus on just two styles (swing jazz and metal) as opposed to whatever Mr. Bungle did (90 genres at once).

  • HOOOOOOY SHEEEEEET!

    This is awesome!

I don't even know if should bump my head of start dancing!

  • LOVE THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!

  • Those first couple seconds almost feel like Sympathy for the Devil. Neat.

  • AMAZING

  • For the first seconds I thought i was hearing a remake to Swing Swing Swing... Then... I heard musical artistry.... Some blend about as creative... My ears are still in shock. xD I love this!!

  • @SCBcorporate dubstep is a plague. Why would anyone with music taste want to hear that?

  • What if I like both dubstep and this?

  • @Sirolfusable Then you're a towl

  • @Sirolfusable Nothing happens. I like every genre except reggeaton and rap but just make sure the compositions are amazing and the mesagge isn't crap. :) Live. Not everything is metal.

  • @NemesisLiaho Regresate a escuchar a Justin Bieber.

  • @NemesisLiaho pues que chingados haces aqui?!

  • Anyone reminded of "Hey Panchuco" from the Mask? It's got that same sorta upbeat rhythm to it. AMAZING. it's so hard to come across music like this nowadays.

  • This is truly great stuff, classy, grungy, soft and hard at the same time. Gotta love this band!!!

  • Try band "Uz Jsme Doma". That's great band too ;)

  • this guys voice bothers me, but the song is catchy i cant stop listening to it

  • Damn is this hard to dance to,great workout though. It was my dad who got me hooked.Im doing this for my visual solo in Glee mixed with Iris by the GooGoo dolls. It makes for a bad-ass combination.

  • we are waiting for DSO in Colombia we have now the tickets for metro Theater

  • The misture cabaret + jazz + metal is awesome as the misture T-rex + lasers + boned corset... I love you!

  • one of my uni friends is the son of one of the backing singers.... casually played this on his ipod and now i can't get it out of my head!!!

  • Awesome :O

  • Diablo Swing Orchestra? More like Diablo SWAG Orchestra.

  • Ok, a friend broad me here, I won't bitch. I like it; sounds like nothing I've heard before and it's freaking great. But "swing+metal"?? People call it metal just because it's got its guitars with distorsion? Cooome on.

  • @Carlos2312 there's more than one kind of metal you know

  • @Carlos2312 Metal is an extremely wide concept. But this is metal. It has to do with overall song structure and the base in the background i'd argue.

  • Avant-garde jazz metal... one of the strangest things I've ever heard, but it's AWESOME

  • @WhiteRoseWithering96 That's why, to me, is one of the most original and best bands ever!! :D

The jazz elements and the operatic elements all blend in with a superb composition!

  • @WhiteRoseWithering96 This is not avant-garde in the slightest.

  • Soon, very soon... Can't wait to see them!

  • @fsvill123 Amen! Pronto..

  • Fallout 5 needs this.

  • The whole song reminds me of "sing, sing, sing" by Benny Goodman especialy the beginning.

  • @Lightningspiner I get what you mean! I got a deja vu moment when I was listening to the beginning...To me, Sing Sing Sing is my idea and definition of jazz and swing in general :D

  • Nice :D

  • Awesome song but the picture is creepy

  • I cant even express how amazing this is.

  • Should I be metal faced or wiggle my fingers?

  • This music IS so EPIC So many Styles Combinated IN one Music!!!!

  • This.. is.. AWESOME! :D

  • Sublime, Darkest jazz ever!, My feet moves alone, I can't stop it! and my brain says to me increase the volume madafoka!! blow up your ears!!!.

I do it... now I listen no more... waiting to heal to blow up my ears again...

  • The beginning reminds me of the Battlefield 1942 theme for some reason.

  • Jazzy Therion. That is all.

  • i don't get it.

  • @lolapalooza02 2deep4u

  • genialllllllllllll goooodddddddddddddddddddddddddddDDDDDDDDDDD

  • OMFG i get shivers from listening to any song of theirs....amazing

  • I think I just stumbled onto something amazing...............yes, yes I did.

  • I will play this song in my graduation march

  • :DDD *swing dances*

  • *Headbangs*

    *Jazz Hands*

  • @Gigakoops ;) haha

  • WHAT THE FUCK?? I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I HEAR!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!

  • This is totally not metal, but it's pretty cool.

  • @Dankscarver It's called Avante-Garde metal. Another word for Experimental Metal. ;)

  • My favorite DSO song! It makes me wanna dance (Note: I hate dancing)

  • @travics77 I identify with you.

  • Rob Zombie should use this band in his films.

  • this is bueno

  • Great song, NOT metal in any sense (my opinion) but great anyway. Thanks!

  • @Straath I am also confused about the assertions that this is partly metal. Definitely an interesting listen though

  • ok, awesome. Had weird expectations for this but expectations are spectacularly succeeded!

  • AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • pls who sings this part 2:50 ? I love his voice:D is it a guitarist?:D

  • @zupanicka

i think you can see him in one of the live versions, and yes i think it's one of the guitarists, but id don't know the name of him.... :(

  • anyone know any similar bands?

  • @flipbarrett try 'Jelonek', ex. A Funeral Of A Provincial Vampire

  • Is that Les Claypool in this??

  • If there was a musical made with licensed music, and the villain was an evangelical faith healer, I feel that this would be his theme.

  • ƒrèe diabbbbllo 3 www.diablo3land.com

  • the best instruments combiation, wow, one of the bests sounds

  • It's Avant-Garde Metal! -.- Swing metal? -.-

  • is not metal

  • @XxjackassxX676

I certainly would not contest your Ph.D. in music.

  • @XxjackassxX676 in fact... It isn't "true root bloody metal".... That's something that has evolved partly thanks to metal music, and is generally categorized as "avant garde metal"....

Even if i prefer calling it "hard jazz" (like when rock went to hard rock to go to metal)

  • swing metal. genius

  • It reminds of Devin Townsend's "Bad Devil".

  • sounds a lot like 'sing sing sing'.

  • @ThMrksman yeah, but it's metal

  • 2:24 and 2:50 are wonderful :)

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

  • swing + metal = way too awesome! The cabaret feeling and the jazz elements are something you can't explain

  • @zorac91 Fucking AMEN.

  • @zorac91 u just explained

  • i thought this band couldn't get any better!! ahhh i wanna dance to this all day!!!

  • what license does the song have?

    creative commos?

  • cantina band gone wild

  • not that this is bad, but can someone explain where the metal is in this? im not like a metal elitist or anything (you know, the people that dont think lamb of god is metal enough), but i honestly dont hear a guitar in there, and if there is one its buried in the mix. i like it, dont get me wrong, but where's the metal, or even rock?

  • @MM2011RHP

um...not joking, you need your hearing checked if you didn't hear the guitar.

  • @MM2011RHP

or you might have bad headphones, I dunno

  • @MM2011RHP

Well if you listen to more of their songs you might understand why they are considered a metal band...although considering their genre, they could be rapping and still be considered real metal. Diablo Swing Orchestra is avant-garde metal, which is VERY experimental, and not in the progmetal way a-la Dream Theater...it's difficult to explain. Listen to Unexpect for example, great band, or even Faith No More, one of the creators of the genre.

  • @DarthBleh Avant-Garde is the truly artistic side of metal, taking the genre to places it never thought possible. With it's roots going all the way back to 1972 with a little known spanish band called Nu, it has evolved from a band that sounded like Sir Lord Baltimore with extra instruments and random tempo changes into what it is now, a diverse and varied genre where no two bands sound alike.

  • @MM2011RHP they are part metal you can just listen to a different song and you can easily spot the guitar you know there is more than one song to base your opinion off of.

  • @sonofsilence is it sad that I quite literally just did both because of your comment? <3 XD

  • Could imagen alot of Hellish atmosphere! With Lots of fire! The Character singing would be a mix between Hades from Hercule and and Doctor Facilier from The Princess and the frog.

  • This would be Beelzebubs theme like in a disney movie! :D

  • Wow, it's like Sweden in a Fallout type world.

  • Оооооооо! Мне нравится!

  • I imagine this song on a stop motion Tim Burton movie.

  • Does the man's vocal style have a name?

  • @kaakatin

    It does. It's called "televangelist."

  • @Zelkiiro What?

  • @kaakatin

The male vocalist is imitating/emulating the style of speech often used by televangelists.

  • @Zelkiiro

I thought he was more emulating the speaking style of carnival showmen.

  • @Thyclaine By the lyricis, you can say that is more a televangelists than a carnival showmen...

  • This is my background music.. im so evil :P

  • Let's mosh like the roaring 20's.

  • I just stumbled across this band. Their album art caught my eye, but their music stole my heart.

  • Sing, sing, sing 2.0?

  • @Uyusanis haha!! I thought the very same thing 5 seconds in

  • im not sure weather to do the charleston or headbang!!! fucking epic

  • love this band ..erm orchestra

  • Developed for glorious fights on the fields of erpicness..... Just ejaculaticaly orgasmic <3 !

  • It's avant garde

  • @falleinloveshoes7 But with swing

  • 33 people couldn't decide if this was the best jazz they ever heard, or the the best metal.

  • i love this song

  • thats a better kind of withdrawn... i'll put my mayhem albums up... for a short while antway!

  • Wow, this a weird yet amazing mix of different styles and instruments!

  • so what is it about exactly?

  • i bet krupa and goodman will hedbang at tis tune!!! yeah baby sing sing sing!!!

  • Bought the album after listening to some of their tracks here X3

  • every time i listen to them i ballroom dance.. weirdly..... lol

  • Comment removed

  • Item una optima spes praesentis artis Jamendo

  • damn...i had an idea for a band like this than i was told it already existed!

    HAS EVERYTHING BEEN DONE~!!! DX

  • Finally, I found the jazz that's right for me.

  • @CarlAfuPhace

    not jazz...

    swing/ big band style

  • @mex55 swing is a style of jazz music, a sub-genre.. originally called swing jazz.. just sayin

  • they're sooo good musicians.

  • 30 people will swing with GOD , they dont deserve DIABLO swing ;D

  • what do normal people think about this song?

  • @userneime i personally think its epic~!!!!!!!!!

  • @userneime that it's awesome!

  • OHHHH SHIIIIIIITTTT.

  • I feel that if all circuses sounded like this, people would either not be afraid of clowns anymore, or would be even MORE terrified of them.

  • This was fun. Hard to study when you've got to get up every ten seconds to dance along with it though. Made me feel like I was a secret agent with some seriously awesome background music.

  • what is this song generally about?

  • @wendyblue7 Seems to be about salvation of some sort. From what I can tell by the lyrics, anyway.

  • @wendyblue7 It's about five minutes long! HA..............ha.

  • why the fuck is there an ad?

  • ok...vodka inferno is more like it ;)

  • Don't get me wrong I like swing, but this is far away from being metal in any way...

  • @OrDog696

That's when you break out Vodka Inferno :)

  • @OrDog696 This is apparently mixing the two genres, which I think I hear...I mean, there's definitely some distorted guitar there, but if that's enough to call something metal in any way, idk....

Also, come on, this is some basic swing rhythms with some distorted guitar, I don't see a big deal here, it's gimmicky as fuck.

  • I was at a swing dance last Friday (danced with four incredibly hot girls, good times). I'm thinking about calling one up and dancing to this song while headbanging. Should be awesome.

  • The only "swing' metal I'd really ever heard prior was Guitar God Michela Lee Firkinns version of The Mooch' by Duke Ellington way back in the early 90s

  • The 'types of responses ' you see on this post are unusually positive...the sign of a truly exceptional band.....very original hybrid sound

  • Wow. OMFG. Possibly the best and most amazing thing I have ever heard. Forget having sex to BTBAM's "Mirrors"

  • Wow. OMFG. Possibly the best and most amazing thing I have ever heard.

  • This makes me start to dance and destroy things at the rythm of the song!

  • what's the original title of the song?

  • 29 people suck.
