Yes, seeing Viral dreaming with a family of his own was sad, yes Kamina's death was sad and so was Nia's. But the thing that pissed me off was Simon becoming a hobo, giving away the key and destroying hope of their being a second season with the initial cast still playing a lead roll T_T

well simon retired becuase honestly what else could he do? His drill was one that peirced the heavens, with his friends backing him he created a galaxy sized robot held together by pure spiral power and preceded to destroy a race that had beaton LordGenome, and LordGenome is one of the biggest badasses there ever was so the only thing left that could happen is his spiral power overloading causing the spiral nemesis, the very thing he sought to prevent.

personally, at first it depressed me, but it wasn't that bad in the end. I think that another season would be cheap, but i wouldn't mind seeing perhaps a final movie with the cast. and remember what Rossiu said, that he's protecting them from somewhere. If there were to be a movie taking place at the end, then i'd consider the series an even greater complete success than it already is.
