Obviously the GOP thought that they could exploit injured soldiers a little more by standing in front of an image of a medical center that they don't seem to like to fund very well. In fact, they spend so little time thinking about it that when asked for a picture of it, they thought that a quick google image search on the internets would suffice - hence, the wrong freakin picture.

It's OBVIOUS that the McCain campaign intended to show the hospital, some buffoon found that picture, and nobody in the campaign questioned it because the campaign people in charge of the video had never been to the hospital.

The instant I saw the green background, I was reminded of that earlier minor controversary, wondering why on earth the campaign would go back to that. When they pulled back, I was even more confused, not being able to identify what the building was supposed to be. Either way, the campaign screwed up as far as I'm concerned. If they can ridicule Obama for having Greek columns behind him, then tit for tat says that McCain's odd stagecraft should also be criticized.
