  • So beautiful! Great job! Chopin's 10/3 etude is always a great one to play, and Godowsky was a genius in how he re-arranged them!

  • congratulations on your fine attempt! do continue your wonderful hobby!

just a small suggestion: there are some lines that godowsky hold across different harmonies so do consider using the sostenuto pedal (especially when you're playing on a grand here). Also, explore the una corda! it gives a wonderful colour change too. Don't let your left leg idle! (:

    Cheers and best wishes.

  • Thanks for your suggestion; constructive criticism is always welcome. Sostenuto sounds like it could be an interesting idea. I will give it a try when I next practice. I am currently working on Godowsky's left hand suite. I'll try see if i can apply your suggestion to that as well.

  • Cheers! (:

  • I still like Chopin's version better than Godowsky's, but he did a good job a fine job with his. I loved your playing very enjoyable :-).

  • For that, I'll let you fire a waterpolo ball directly into my face at least once more without taking it personally. Nicely played, and thanks for bringing me to a fresh look at classical music

  • Impressive--sorry I was not there.

  • Excellent. Very well played. I like it lots.

  • Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  • You done good. Looking forward to the next concert.

  • Well done! But don't quit your day job. That's not to be disparaging, it's just to point out that your new day job probably pays better ;)

  • I like your playing. Good.
