  • I disagree with his claim that socialism has always been marterialisc. The early socialist movement was filled with christans and only during the 20th centruay have we seen a more negative veiw of religion with in teh soicalist movement.

  • If taken not as a personal belief system of conduct on the market and relationship to your work, if taken as a real possibility, an economic system of a whole country perhaps, I must admit, having been taught capitalism, it's tough stuff to chew on this distributism... :-/

    I understand the rule of the invisible hand. It may not be perfect, and people may steal, but it works. I can't see how people would accept distributism - people as a whole I mean.... Tough stuff. Wish I knew more.
