  • Thank you Craig Chavez for introducing me to Front 242 back in 1991 at 16yrs old this was what made me realize there was a reason I liked all those old 80s synth bands and proud to have been a fan for 20 yrs!

  • Thank you Craig Chavez for introducing me to Front 242 in 1991 , been a fan ever since. Got everything from 81 to today. =)

  • I remember back in the 80s running this song by a Christian guy I knew and his saying "it sounds like it was put together by a committee of archdemons". He later lost his faith and became the founder and editor of a prominent horror- culture magazine in Toronto. Funny old world, eh?

  • @Alltandubh hahahhahahahhaha "sounds like it was put together by a committe of archdemons"!! man i wish i could share that memory with you.

  • @Alltandubh On the flip side, I met a catholic priest in a Goth Club in Jacksonville, FL that was dancing like a fool to this song. Unknowingly, I told him that his costume was very appropriate for this song. He said, "it is not a costume!", hands me his card, and returns to dancing. I went to his church the next morning to see if he was for real, and there he was! HAHA! Thanks for bringing jaw-dropper memory back!

  • Here I am

  • i aint heard this in years xD

  • Who are the out-takes? E.G.:

    1. "hey poor, you don't have to be poor anymore",

    2. "Come-In Jesus"

    3. "Oh GOD, I'm a sinner, I deserve to go to...."

    4. "In the Name of Jesus"

    5. "Hallelu...." (favorite)

    6. "No sex until marriage'

    7. "Jesus is the son of GOD"

I'm pretty sure that Jimmy Swaggart is # 3.

  • @carsearch2001 Yes, you are correct about #3. Swaggart is also #6 as well.

  • @Gigrantula58 Awe man, Swaggart said, "No Sex Until Marriage" and then he was busted hiring prostitute(s). Geez the hypocracy, glad they made this song poking fun at the sanctimoneous.

  • Hey poor. You dont want to be Jesus!

  • Club day"s in the late 80's . XXXXXXX

  • I worked at Medusa's in Chicago where they released this and the crowd went CRAZY>>>>

  • about 3:50 - about 4:25 = LMFAO @ Benny Hinn, Possibly the biggest false prophet ever!

  • I love the way this song takes the piss out of christian fundamentalists, especially Morris Cerullo. Europe rules!!

  • NO SEx Unt1L Marr1eD

    K20 is Painting

  • Haven´t heard this song in ages. I just stumbled across it now, but after (at least) twenty years it still blows me away. Puck rock meets electronica indeed! Kudos!

  • flexo is heare

  • a dance floor anthem

  • lol@the tempting fate comments!

  • Awesome Sound!!!! Just don't Tempt fate...Bad Karma..

  • OMFG Love them! X3

  • Oh God,I.m a sinner! I think the preacher is Oral Roberts. He claimed "God would call him home if he didn't receive 10 million dollars in donations". How do I get into that racket?

  • @cockycaucasian it was jerry falwell after he got caught cheating on his wife with a hooker... and maybe embezzlement too.

  • @cockycaucasian It sounds more like Jerry Fallwell..I like the music, but this is tempting fate...what happens when the band members die and stand before god and he asks them...What was that all about...Just saying... :)

  • @MyFirstConcert Bad Karma!!

  • @MyFirstConcert

God doesn't exist. Yes Jerry Falwell (among others) was sampled in this song: "Oh God I'm a sinner; I deserve to go to Hell."

  • hey you don`t have to be like jesus. aleluya!

  • I used to spin this track at a strip joint in Colorado Springs. When it got to "NO. SEX. UNTIL. MARRIAGE", I'd mute the track and all the dancers would shout it out.

    Good times, yep.

  • Remember when the late '80's were about what was in the clubs and the radio stations in houston had know idea what was really going on!!

  • NO. SEX. UNTIL. MARRIAGE.

    Classic.

  • I remember when this came out. I absolutely loved it! AND, I got it from Wax Traxx Records in Chicago! Still love it to this day!

  • @3:53 WIN! Ü

  • I really love all the early minimal stuff off Geography, but this is really by far the cleverest track they did. It was right on time too, cos this was back when the Christian right was ascendant in U.S. politics. "The Christian right is neither."

  • there's still lot of Old School event

  • I was lucky enough to catch 242 at a nightclub show in 1991 (Metropol in Pittsburgh). To this day it's the best small venue show I ever saw. This song was remarkably popular for 10 years at Goth/Electronica nightclubs which is amazing considering how quickly trends change.

  • my time !!!

  • old school here, kids...people would come from the shadows at the Building in NY..the dancefloor would be filled with bodies twisting and turning in ecstasy ..noting like it today.

  • wonderful

  • classic
