Street studio as well as Bay area rap superstars Luni Coleone, and Yuk Mouth from The Luniz. Eventually 5150 branched out to include R&B, as well as Pop artists in its production repertoire.

In 1999 Gaines was approached by Keith Loneker and William ..The Weirdo.. Wilson who had a studio and record label (5150) in Lawrence. The two asked him to assist in production of an upcoming album for local standout rap group, Bombsquad. Shortly thereafter, Gaines joined 5150 Mental Productions, as a fulltime producer, and together the three entrepreneurs established the first totally urban oriented music recording and production studio on Massachusetts (Mass.) Street in Downtown Lawrence.

My buddy Keith Loneker Sr has produced many in his studio in Lawrence. You might send him a song or message on facebook and let him know how bad you want it. He is in the Topeka Ks network. I will try and let him know about you. He has produced singers of many kinds of music rock, R&B, RAP and other. He played football for KU and in the NFL for the LA Rams and also now is starring in alot of movies.

Sing your hart out mija! You did great! Janis Joplin is my favorite female blues artist and if you continue to chose to sing artist songs like hers I know that you'll make it big in the music business. Keep your head up, keep your heart strong and keep your voice loud!

Girl you got it...go with it , run with it. I really dont know what to tell you other than your voice is really ahead of your time. IDK maybe idol or maybe your already above that. IDK i think idol is a joke anyway. Look to sign with someone quick if you already havent done so. come 2 Lawrence Ks and I can get you fixed up. Go 2 the bottleneck on open mic night which I believe is Monday and I think you will find your way. Your voice is what I call a supreme. Keep singing and dont stop.

My only critique would be to watch your nasality in the exposed areas of your song. It's okay during the really exciting parts but not so much in the resting areas without much instrumental accompanying.
