It's true he doesn't write them with proper stroke order, but how many of us have perfect stroke order and kanji all the time? Foreigners could care less sometimes about stroke order as long as it can be read. Remembering the shapes, pronunciations, and meanings of 2000-4000 characters to be literate trumps perfect execution of stroke order, だろ? Stroke order haters, but I do appreciate correct and properly written Kanji! Anyone agree with me?
Your 水 was a bit off.. The horizontal stroke should be written first, then the second, and the third and fourth are separate, not connected. Sorry for nitpicking, but 水 is my favourite Kanji, LOL. Great job though! :DDDDD
U can absolutely take your time. Traditionally it is done with brush and ink. The pressure and speed of your brush effects the thickness and shape of kanji. In this video I was attempting to write kanji with the music.
Correct speed and order of strokes are very important. There is also a way to treated like art and give it life but that's usually done by more experienced person. Sort of like obstructive drawing.
Stroke order for 命, 男, 美, 地, 様 and 使 is wrong. You also missed the hane on 水 (the hook to the left of the central vertical stroke), which makes your kanji for water look a bit like 木.
your a terrible teacher you need to explain not just doodle kanji cause most americans don't know whats a no no and what these signs mean I give you a big fat F
kanji is designed for right handed people, usually in Japan left handed people were thought to write with right hand. placing the paper at diagonal seem to help some left handed people.
@GintokisGirl95 I know this is pretty late, but I'm left handed. All you need to do is hold the pen perpendicular to the paper. The tilt that a left-handed person has makes writing kanji harder. By holding the pen like that, you are removing any right-handed bias.
hiragana and katakana should be studied together since similarities is significant. consider hiragana and katakana as alphabet and kanji as words. in Japan hiragana and katakana is studied before kanji.
The chinese characters imported are called kanji, what's illustrated in this video. However, they mean the same; they are generally written alongside the hiragana that mean the same as the kanji so that people who don't know kanji can still get the stray kanji thrown in.
add the oriental languages on your pc(i don't know for mac) change the language in the language bar and use the japanese input mode ...sorry my english is bad m(_ _-)m
cool elfen lied fan!!! *SCREAMS* awesome!!! thats my favourite manga/anime (the manga is better and much longer) XDXDXD i also like mermaid melody, dbz, azumanga daioh, paniponi dash and magic knights rayearth (!!!!!)
I lived in Japan and went to public shool there. taking a class at your school is good idea, or some people just learns on thier own. Japanese movies with subtitle is another fun way to learn. rosseta stone is a good program. there are some web sites that offers on line tudoring as well. good luck!
Work on your 糸 radical, the symbols 心、鬼、and your stroke order. It may seem to be tempting to write it the fastest way but looking it up in a dictionary or teaching someone it becomes somewhat important. Especially if you're using a brush pen. Not to be critical at all, it's just that your styling had me thinking for a while.
yeah the 糸 is ugly. i was trying write with the music. it was a lot of fun. i think 心、鬼 looks prety good but they can get better. i can't find any mistake on the stroke order so maybe you can tell me which one. thanks for the comment!
thank you! on this day i did about 100 but these are mostly the very basic kanji that 10 years old in Japan would know, but i can still read almost all kanji. ok maybe not all but most of it. n_n
心 looks wierd!!! and 美 is wrong the ay you wrote it
