Kane Roberts guitar is seriously out of tune. I have a live concert that I taped off the radio in highschool, he was out of tune after his guitar solo on that show as well. Regardless, he was still an awesome player and the Kip Winger solos are also awesome.

All these years later and I just found out that, not surprisingly, Ken Mary went on to infamy! We went to middle and high school together. Senior year the band played "Make Me Smile" (Chicago). His drum playing gave me goose bumps!! I recently saw he's a member of the FB graduating class of '81 page for our high school and emailed him to tell him that I remember that performance, not knowing how famous he'd become. Only when I googled him did I find out about him...

Thanks to the guy who posted this. I am happy to see it. In 9th grade Crestwood Highschool (1986 or 87) a lot of my friends went to this very show at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit but I didn't make it but I watched it on MTV live on Halloween. What a show and a great line up & what a crowd. That ,my friends , is a classic Detroit City crowd from back in the day.
